How do you set up this feature in Daves. I know that I sometimes receive blast dmails but don't know how it it done?

Blast Dmail How
Click on the link to "My Info" then choose "Manage your friends and groups" - create a group, add everyone you want to include in the group, then go to your dmail and send a message to the group.
Sometimes it is the simplist things that just don't register, thanks.
I never realized we could do that! Makes me wonder what else I'm missing out on...

One precautionary note - just because you CAN blast out something doesn't mean you always should ;o) It's a little like sending out something to your entire email address book - usually NOT a good idea.
The Acceptable Use Policy prohibits members from using Dave's Garden (including the forums and dmail system) to promote their business, their website, favorite charity, etc. So, no self-promotion and no soliciting, please. If you receive a "spammy" dmail from someone (whether they used the blast feature or they sent them one-at-a-time), please let us know. Spam is spam, and nobody wants to receive it.
We've had a few incidents where well-intentioned members blasted out huge waves of dmails to random members, when they really should have limited the list to a small group of recipients. Ask yourself, "would I want to get this message from someone I don't really know?" If your gut reaction is iffy, pare down your list to those who you know, and who will be interested in your news or announcement.
