the strength needed always amazes me... great shots

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes, they are in great shape. Felt so bad when they fell. A poor Navy guy fell off the horizontal bar twice.

A few more shots.

Drama!

These rangers dropped from the ceiling not far from me during the national anthem. Scared the crap out of me!

in that first floor shot... looks like he is looking at you

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks. Yes, the expressions caught are amazing. Look how straight this guy's legs are.

Great shots.
I'm sure the rangers coming out of the ceiling scared a few people. hee hee

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Great shots Victor.... I love gymnastics! I did the Horse, and Horizontal Bars in H.S.

Yesterday Brian and I took a walk down by the lake and came across the reason our neighbors are losing all their chickens.

Thats a Baby! Call the game warden. Perhaps catch them and relocate them.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

It seems a Momma Fox has had at least 8-10 babies underneath one of the camps down here on the lake. She comes up the hill to the backside of the house's that have chickens. There are 2 right next to each other that had at least 10 chickens at each coop.

You can see the baby fuzz of their fur in this one......there are 3 in this picture.

It was not afraid as long as I stayed where I was. It was already to curl up and go back to sleep while I sat there snapping pictures. LOL

Remember 25 years ago you would be driving along and see foxes all the time. Do you now? No...... Call the game warden and get them relocated. That is what I would do.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

It was really neat to watch them play and frolic freely with out fear. Love watching nature in my own backyard. ^_^

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

They are CUTE!!

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Yes they are, when they yapped at me and gave a little growl when I got to close I just busted out laughing which sent them scurring under the building!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

LOL... cute until they grow up

Thomaston, CT

I like foxes...often see them around the dam....but I don't raise chickens!

What about peacocks?

East Bridgewater, MA

Peacocks make horribly loud screeching sounds.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

Closer - hikers have made and left some stools, etc., including a child's chair.

those are rocks to make Bill jealous

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

metal roof?? - wood roof would more appropriate.

those rocks are too big for me allison - maybe not:)

South Hamilton, MA

yes bill, I was wondering if you could roll those. Probably you scare the 'construction' people? they don't seem to have nerve.

South China, ME(Zone 5a)

Really nice shelter & boulders Victor!

Salem Cnty, NJ(Zone 7b)

On your next hike, Victor, you could snag a rock and carry it out in your backpack for Bill.
Didn't get the perspective until the pic with the little chair. That's a lot larger than I thought.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Thanks, all. Yes, they are HUGE.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Yeah, I was like is that a fairy garden??? Oh no, the rocks are just HUGE

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Interesting show on the Sci channel the other night about NYC and a big earthquake. The geologist they featured discovered a lot of faults in Harriman Park, where I hike. Same era and composition as the NYC faults.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oh joy
