aaaaaaaawwwwwww you are sweet Victor.. not what I was expecting thank you.. they are playing and he keeps checking her out... it's going to be a while before the time is right.. but I wanted them to get accustomed with each other before the magic time... worked quicker than I thought.. she is making nice with him right away... and in the past she would just growl at him to get away.. they have been playing and playing.. I will upload some video later on

Good luck Lily and Riley! And Allison too!

Marilyn, I'd love to meet at the gardens. I only have four classes left. They meet every Sat., but skip Mar 13th. I'm not sure when my next class will be meeting.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Cute videos, Allison. Great sprouts too!

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

they are finally sleeping after running around like loonies all morning

Newport News, VA(Zone 11)

Great videos! Sprouts!

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

nice allison

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I started them off early last year .. took cuttings off those and made some more... going to try and do the same this year

I thought the spouts were something to eat - until I enlarged it :-/

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

there are edible dahlias ... I think

(Ronnie), PA(Zone 6b)

Seedlings lookin good Allison!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

By the way, did anyone ever get merino wool socks???

Thomaston, CT

No, I don't think so. Harper, let's meet later when the flowers are blooming---just keep me posted---doesn't have to be on a Sat.---am thinking of taking the train down.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

My class meets on Sat. That's why I said. I'll already be there. Starting in April, I will sign up for my next class which meets on Tuesdays. I'm not sure about that one. I'll have to see what the job market looks like.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Maybe I can meet up with you guys too. Harper and I will be going to the orchid show in a few weeks.

Newport News, VA(Zone 11)

Yes, I got some socks...love them. I should have got two pair. Wear them all the time...they work..thanks Victor!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Great. yes, I love mine. That's all I wear in winter.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

they just had a segment on the news how hot dogs are a choking hazzard.. and there are protests to change the design

WHEN DOES IT END????

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i was that too - lot's of data to show they are dangerous to kids - hope they leave sausages alone.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

wouldn't be a danger if the parents actually paid attention to the kids.. or cut the food up for them .. if that's what's needed

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Yes. What's next? Grapes?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

i remember my brother sticking a grape up his nose when we were kids on a dare - emergency room visit to get it out - yes i did get all the brains - he also use to claim to have the hardest head in the world - to prove it he cracked it open not once but twice on a concrete step 2 years apart - stupid is as stupid does

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Did you drop any stones on him?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

wouldn't have to - would just have to dare him to do it to himself

my mother claims that when he was a baby he climbed out of his crib - across a burrow - and fell and hit is head on a metal radiator on the way down - and he has never been the same since - kid was one year old - mother told this story in front of the entire family dead serious several years ago - should have seen the look on my brothers face - a classic mother foot in mouth - talk about a sore stomach from laughing

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

That's a good one.

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Saw the hot dog thing too, unreal.

Questa, NM(Zone 5b)

A friend of mine stuck a pussy willow in my ear when we were kids. Had to go to the emergency room to get it out. The man doctor insisted it was ear wax, even though we told him it was a pussy willow. He spent an hour irrigating my ear. Woman doctor comes in to take a look, grabs some tweezers and takes the willow out.

Maybe we just shouldn't have babies. Life is too dangerous.

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

or doctors should listen to thier patients - wait that makes to much sense since they are supposed to be so smart

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Maybe women are more familiar with pussy willow?

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

*sigh*

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

ok that's it... no more babies... and ban all round foods

LOL

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I do believe there should be a pre parent test though.

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Pre-, and during! They become morons in short order.
