I thought, since I 'm missing my winter birds so much, that I would start this thread with them. This one is of the Bohemian Waxwing.

I wonder why the evening grosbeeks are 'declining'. We used to see them & they can clear out a feeder in nothing flat. Nice picture.
Burn, thank you for the new thread. I love the opening with so many colorful birds. Thanks again.
Your so lucky to have one Lily! How long has she been there?
Pelle, she has been here for several weeks...let's me find out for sure. ....
burn_2007 - nice start to the new thread. I don't know which of your pics I like the best, its a toss-up between the Bohemian Waxwing and the Pine Grosbeaks. Real nice.
Lily_love - I like your lone female Baltimore Oriole. I've never photoed one. And all of my male Red-winged Blackbirds have a bright tan stripe on their wing under a bit of red, though I did see one today with more red than usual.
I took a few pics today. The most common today were Robins. I'll post a few pics when I get them worked up.
Hack
Thank you everyone.
Lily I sure hope those Baltimore come up for a visit this Spring. They don't usually hang around long, when they come. But they are quite a sight to see.
GP, nice to see the Bunting getting it's color. they are so sweet. I also like that pic of the soaring Bald Eagle.
Hack, wonderful shots of Robins,Cardinals and Mockingbird.
Burd, I like the shot where the goose is splashing in the water, and the one with the ducks as well. I didn't get to see the Evening Grossbeaks this year in my yard. But have seen them near wooded area near the road.
One my regulars, the female Hairy Woodpecker.
