I'm hoping I can come. That is a really busy time of year for me but I have been waiting for this area to have a RU so I'm hoping.

I know I've got plants already, because the native plant organization didn't need any plants from members after all for their event.
My husband and I plan to attend. Will look forward to it. We have a tiny bit to trade, we think....will see.
Should be 5 bucks or less depending on attendance for members only. Guests are free.
Many of my cuttings are taking root so I should have many more plants to add soon.
Since I will be flying into Austin, I dont think I will have any trades ... I might be able to box up some bare roots Hostas if anyone is interested. also I might need to bring a friend or two.

I will do up a basic map in the next week and post it. I dont think there is a street sign on the short road you have to take to the pavillion so I think it is best to have one. I will send everyone my cell phone number in case you get lost. I will also check out the BBQ situation to see if it is do-able.
I have to drop out.My daughter won't be in Austin that w/e. I will get my plants to Josephine or Sheila and pay my portion.
I am sorry I will miss the inaugural San Marcos RU and a chance to meet so many of you. :(

Dropped off my plants at Sheila's and had a wonderful tour and education on butterflies at all their stages. We did a little mini trading too, although I am sure I got more!
Sorry I won't be in San Marcos. It sounds like such a nice park and I wanted to meet you all in person.
I hate to be the next drop out but my sister is ill and I need to fly to Reno, so I will not be attending the inaugural RU.
I could probably get my DH to bring our plants and $5 if you say it's OK.

I am so sorry, that I will not be able to attend. My mother's 83 bd is on the 6th and my sister made reservations for her party w/o checking with me. She picked the 5th to do it.

Get me next year. If this one goes off well, I will schedule next year at a large nursery down the road with a nice covered deck and a few acres of plants. I was almost tempted to relocate this one to the nursery but oh well.

Nurseries may not like the free swapping on their property. :-))
Oh, well I think probably the nursery would be able to sell something. Personally, I find it difficult to stop at any place that is right next to a nursery without running in for a "quick" look around the nursery. There was a hardware store I used to avoid sometimes for that reason.
I am friends with the owners of the nursery. I know they would be thrilled as they use Daves Garden all the time.
A swap at a nursery sounds awesome! I'm sure this year's swap will be such a success that we will want to do it again next year.
A side note. There is a strong possiblity that I will not have access to the internet next week, so I will probably need to have my pretrades done by this Friday. If anyone wants to speak for anything on my list after that, I can try to reply the following Friday, but no promises.
On that note, would love to see anyone's "have list" that hasn't had a chance to post it yet ; )

I hate to add to the drop-out list, but I won't be able to go either. I'll be cow sitting a 2-year old who was parlyzed giving birth to her first calf. She needs water and food several times during the day. I didn't know this was possible.

Alrighty, back up y'all, I'm a semi-newbie with DG as far as forums, etc. I assume a Round Up is just that, a gathering of plant lovers. I'm obligated to a local cactus/succulent sale and have some guys doing some clearing at my place on the 5th. I'm in Austin, so I regret that it's so near. If I get the guys started and such, and can possibly make it, I'll bring a few trades. What are "pre-trades" and how does that work? 5:00 is pretty early with the sun out so long.
