It looks like we are closing in on 15 members signing up with a goal of 20+ members.
If we all feel confident, I will go ahead and reserve the pavillion for the 5th of June.
By the way, San Marcos has a new large hotel and event center right next to the Outlet Malls if you want get in some shopping too. The outlet malls are massive. People fly in from outside the U.S. and stay at the hotel and shop for days at a time.
Shopping not for me, buy I want to see you orchard. I hope the date we want is available, better reserve it soon.
I posted it on the calendar "sticky" thinking it was a confirmed date. Sure hope you get your date. We have a problem in Arlington every year trying to reserve Sat. and end up on Sundays not by choice.
Jujube, I see you posted directions and a starting time at the top post, did you get the reservation?
I will check on Monday. I wasnt going to rent it until I knew enough people were coming. Even if the big one is taken, there is another one down there.
If I were you I would check to see if either one is available, it would be very disappointing if you can't get it later on. You can then decide what to do.
Also, how much does the small one cost? since it is your first time the group may not be very big, but as of now I count 10 including you.
I definitely plan on coming! May bring a friend too. Do I need to bring anything? Food or plants or ????

The reservations have been confirmed. We have the pavillion on June 5th from 10am-7pm. The RU starts at noon. We are going to be about 100 feet from the river. The water is natural springs and is crystal clear. The falls are about 500 feet away and you can actually slide down three of the falls without getting hurt. Although, it is scary. This place gets really crowded so expect there to be a lot of people around. You can pull your car straight up to the pavillion to unload but you will probably have to park further away. I will see if I can get the best directions and a map posted soon.

We have the larger one. I went out last night to take a look at it. It looks like it is about 40 x 90 feet. There are six picnic benches under the roof that we can use as tables.
That sounds excellent, it looks like it it is all shaping up very well.
