i need to know how to post pics-i have a cd photo and can scan now-how do i get them so that i can post them??? Ive tried emailing them to myself-pushing buttons-NO idea what to do! please help me! =]

Dori, here's how I do it:
1. If your photo is in a cd, open the CD, find the photo and right click on the photo. One of the options will be to save it. Choose that option.

2. Save it as a .jpg file, even if you have to add the extension manually after the file name (sometimes it is included in a drop-down list of options, sometimes it's not.)

3. Remember (1) which folder you save it in; and (2)what you name it - trust me, those are both very important pieces of information!

2. Go to the Photo or ID forum or plant entry you want to post your photo to. Open up a new entry. Click on the "browse" button next to the box where your photo address will go. Now find the folder where you saved it (remember I told you you'd need it), and find the file (ditto.) Click on the file name, click Okay (gray box below if you're using standard MS software) and it should load the address in the box.

Then you can preview it before posting.
