Grandview, TX(Zone 8a)

Thank you!! :)
Sure! I have some left, you may have one. Anything else? I have an apple gourd seedling as well. They make great birdhouses for small birds.

Steph

Arlington, TX

I think I only have room for one gourd so I would love to grow a luffa.

Anyone who has been saving newspaper, the plastic bags that cover your newspaper, or the shopping bags that are plastic, I need them. If you don't have a use for them, please kindly share them with me.

Also, anyone bringing anything that you want me to deliver to Dave and Trish, please put their name on the plant and who it is from, so they will know who to thank. Otherwise, I'll just get all the credit and you won't get the thanks that you so deserve.

Thank you,
Charlene

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

Anyone need a pencil catus about 2.5 X 2.5 foot in a hanging basket.

Arlington, TX

I would love to adopt your cactus. Is it an indoor specimen?
C

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

I have had it for two years inside or on the porch. It is yours.

Arlington, TX

Ok and I do want it, but I am wondering is it a euphorbia or a true cactus?

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

Plant of the Week
Pencil Cactus, Milkbush
Latin: Euphorbia tirucalli
I think this is it.

Do you still have the Russian sage?

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

Does anyone need plastic nursery pots?

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

Yes, I need them, I can use 4 inch, quart, and gallon, but others may need them too, so spread them around if they are wanted.
Josephine.

Arlington, TX

I do not have the Russian sage, anything else? I am every so slightly afraid of that euphorbia because of the sap but I would love to grow one.
C

Grandview, TX(Zone 8a)

C, don't be afraid. I have one and have never had a problem with it. They're great. Enjoy :-)

Dallas, TX

Hi Charlene,

You're in luck, I have a large bag of plastic bread bags, produce bags and grocery bags that I was going to take for recycling but will save for you!

I'd be interested in some of your salvia cocinea Lady in red, if you'd like to share.

Thanks,

Kate

P.S. Everyone, I'm still working in my list. Right now I have more "garden supplemental items" then plants - I'll get those posted soon.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Charlene~Do you need the Wal-Mart type plastic bags? I have some of those that probably have some produce bags and bread bags in them. You're more than welcome to them.

**Folks, I will have some veggies, mainly tomatoes and jalapenos for trade, too. I just need to figure out what I'm going to keep before adding them to my list.

Plano, TX

i would love to have a tomato and a jalapeno!
i still do not have my list of what i am bringing--sorry-still figuring it all out!

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

I would be interested in a jalapeno as well, if you have any extras.

Dallas, TX

Hi all, I've just started my list

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

Newtonsthirdlaw, can you pot up a Orange Aniscanthus seedling for me?

Arlington, TX

I will pot up several as they are quite tiny right now. I will give them some "juice" and see if that speeds up their growth.
C

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Linda & Dennis~have you both down for a jalapeno. That's probably all of those I'm going to have. I have a total of 6 and I'm keeping 2 and giving at least 1 away, maybe the other as well.

Dennis~Did you want some toad lilies? I planted some seeds as part of my winter sowing adventure and some have started poking their heads out. I'd be happy to share with you.

Lewisville, TX(Zone 7b)

I feel really awful as I have just thrown out some garlic chives ( they spread like crazy) & salvia sprouts ( red or pink..they are repeats from some I planted 5 yrs ago!)... however I see that I may have a few more so I will bring some if I am successfull at re potting them!
I may have some "four o clocks too.. if I can get some.. again.. I threw them away when cleaning up the garden!! UGH!

I didn't realize that these could be used for the swap!!!
So they will be "give aways" if they make it!

I have some RUE seeds for trade that I will bring. Not sure what I want... do I notify the person whi has something I want? As I am new to all of this.

Arlington, TX

Just direct a post on here to that person and ask for what they have listed.
C

Lewisville, TX(Zone 7b)

DfwDennis, if you have the Texas Gold Columbine I would like it. The only thing I have for trade at the moment are Rue seeds that are host to butterflies.

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

Stephanie, thanks for the jalapeno. I would be glad to take some toad lilies off your hands, if you have extra. :) By the way, all three blackberries I dug up for you are doing fine. I know that one is Apache, one is Arapaho, and I think the third one is Rosborough.

Cindy, I will put you down for columbine. I actually found a few more volunteers today, if anyone is interested.

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

dfwdennis I would like some blackberries.

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

Sorry, but I only had a few blackberries and they have been spoken for.

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

I have 1 Flame Acanthus seedling and 1 Bur Oak seedling to give away.

Carla

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Flame acanthus please. What can I bring you for it?
Charlene

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Ted how about two blackberry plants for an angelwing begonia and monsterosa plant?
Charlene

Rowlett, TX(Zone 8a)

Charlene, you're welcome to the Flame Acanthus.

Carla

Kingston, OK(Zone 7a)

Charlene "Thanks the Begonia and a start of Monsterosa is yours.

Grandview, TX(Zone 8a)

TARogers5 I see you have grasses on your wants. I have some Job's tears started if you would like some.

Burleson, TX(Zone 8a)

Someone told me last year what this thing is called, but I forgot. I've potted some and would like to bring them to trade, but I don't know what to call them. Can you help me again? I'll write it down this time. Syb

Charlene

Dallas, TX

Charlene,

Happy to bring you those items! Your trade suggestions sound very nice (the spreen looks very interesting!), so bring me what you like.

As a note to the list, does anyone in the Arlington/FW area know where I can get a small (1 gl) Bay Laurel (I've been to several places (Rodenta's, Green Mama's, Marshall Grain) and can't find any)?

Kate
