May 2nd * N Central TX RU in Arlington #1 TRADES

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I added a couple Candletrees to my list y'all.

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

I will take a candle tree Deb....I am dissappointed that my large one didn't come back up and a small one I over wintered was destroyed by a squirrel digging in the pot. I am putting out seeds next year. You got the sedum.
As for trees....I have a 25+ foot Maple that dumped a load of seeds and they are popping up everywhere. Anyone want seeds or seedlings of it?

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Deb, may I please have a candletree? What can I bring you?
Charlene

Arlington, TX

Linda I dont know or remember. Are you the person trading me the luffa gourd. Honestly it doesnt matter. I am getting more than enough new things to try. I will try and pot up some greek oregano today. It smells good, is tough and makes a nice ground cover. I have never tried to cook with it but I imagine you can.
C

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Plano,
I was hoping for some of your yellow columbine, if you have any left.
Charlene

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

PlanoLinda... I have your link added to the top post of this thread...sorry I didn't know I missed you.

I have a fig you can have that is left from a large one I took out, not sure of the species. I have a lot of un-promised obedient plants for you, also I would take the zinnas you have if they aren't promised.

newto....well if either of us figures it out i will add it to my list /otherwise pick something from what i bring ok?

charlene--my columbine looked really bad when i transplanted it so i took it off my list--it just didn't do well being pulled up --but i hope you find other things from my table to take

sheila i'm sorry it seemed like i was complaining about not being on a link :) i thought i was supposed to link myself up and wasn't sure how to do it-thanks for starting a link--i will have to check it out! thanks for the fig plant and yes to the zinnias!

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

The following are trades that I left off my list. This are in addition to the trades that were already made in the previous list.
Please let me know if they are correct.

bananna18
Jackmanii and red gomphrena
for 2 clumps of bulbine

Loonie1
Bur Oak seedling (please label this for Ken) for a Salvia coccinea

Tarogers5
short mex petunia for some frog plant markers

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

Plano, don't worry about the Columbine it is fine.

Charlene

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

I have been inspecting the vine and I think it is sweet autumn clematis...which makes more sense, since it spreads easily.
We can call off all trades, cause I know I wouldn't want any of that!

Buffalo, TX(Zone 8b)

I have lots of sweet autumn clematis that are in 3 gallon pots if anyone has a trade for one, they will bloom this fall.

In my zone, they have to go into the greenhouse, but in zone 9 they are awesome.

Charlene

Magnolia, TX(Zone 8b)

Looks like everyone is outside or taking naps so let me put this out here b4 I head to my folks, where there are no puters, much less internet!! Luckily, my mom bought me a laptop for Christmas & she is amazed that I can spend hrs on it doing accting for STNGA.

StephanieTx - Tahoka Daisys for Partridge Pea If you have a Pecan potted up, I'd like one of them but if not potted we might do that in the fall.

Frostweed - Tahoka Daisys, if you have a desert willow left, I'd like one.

Charlene - Buckets & Tahoka Daisys, if you have some oxalis or a maypop, I'd be interested.

Sheila - Bulbine in June. What kind of baby maples do you have? I have about 300+ Silver Leafs that are upto 2.5' tall now.

PlanoLinda - BF Weed

Debnes - Want to swap some Silky Gold for some tuberosa? Is your thunbergia taken?

Sybran - Do you have any datura seeds that are not spoken for? I had an 80+' pine come down fr neighbor's yd & took out my GH #1 & all of my daturas, also.

TA - Got an extra bag of worm castings?

All my plants are babies but almost guaranteed to produce flowers this summer & I plan on spreading them around b4 I leave this RU! lol

Magnolia, TX(Zone 8b)

Debnes, do you have a spare Standing Cypress? I have seeds but would like to have a model for my babies to look up to! lol

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

O.K. Smockette, 1 desert willow for you.

Colleyville, TX(Zone 8a)

I have a horrible cold, so forgive me that I dropped out . The thought of getting out to deliver the gomphrena is exhausting! Sounds like there is plenty. Again, I wish I could make it. Take lots of pictures. I will try and layer the jackmanii, so I can be sure of my offer next year.
Anna

Magnolia, TX(Zone 8b)

Anna, you need to get some more of Frostweed's garlic.
You will be missed!!!
Onions & garlic will keep you fr getting those terrible summer colds!
& I live by that!!!
:~)

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

You got it Smocksters the Thumbergia and Cypress...."...to have a model for your babies to look up to! lol" I have plenty of tuberosa :-D

Get well Anna... we'll miss ya!

1 candletree each for Sheila and Charlene

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Anna, sorry you're not feeling well. Summer colds are the pits! Feel better soon.

Smockette~The pecan tree is potted up and ready to go to Magnolia. Don't know what variety as it was a gift from a squirrel in our side yard.

Sheila~I was rechecking the thread, and you have me down as giving me a Mist Flower for a Pea Vine. I don't have any pea vine. I do have some Partridge Pea if you'd like that.

Plants are watered. Car is loaded. I am ready to go. Can't wait to meet y'all again :)

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

I just added a few feet onto the end of a shady bed, and finally have room for a frostweed in the yard. Does anyone have one available?

Josephine, Arlington, TX(Zone 8a)

I have one for you Dennis, who else would?

Grapevine, TX(Zone 8a)

With a handle like "frostweed", I knew I could depend on you. :)

Thanks!

Fort Worth, TX(Zone 8a)

Stephanie...my mistake it is the Partridge Pea you have, changing it now.

Smockette.... unsure what the variety is on the tree....here is a picture. OR NOT!! Well, this is the second photo that wouldn't load for me....I will print and bring it to you with some seeds. If you want them, I can pot some seedlings and bring to Jacksonville in a couple weeks.

Shelia,

I know it's a bit late in the day, but I was just checking trades to make sure I didn't miss anything. It appears that you have me down as bringing Butterfly Ginger for pilosa phlox - unfortunately this isn't my trade (I'm not quite sure who's it is). Hopefully it will get sorted out.

Looking forward to seeing you all!
