StephanieTX I have no idea what type of pumpkin this is as it was "inherited" when I got containers for free ( freecycling group). Last year one set bloomed but never produced fruit..this is from a similar container.. I just think that they didn't grow for me due to where I had the container..now it's come up on it's own.
Do you still want it?.. I'll give you the two I have if you want.
Also... are we still "on" for Sunday rain or shine?? hahahaha... weather is calling for rain but only 30% as of last night.
May 2nd * N Central TX RU in Arlington #1 TRADES
It won't be the first time we have traded plants in the rain. The only reason we would cancel would be if we would be in danger...lightening, hail, etc. The parking is very close to the pavillion as is the plant tables so if there was a short downpour we would have shelter. DH will have a laptop to keep up with it if need be.
My Mom always said "You're not sugar, you won't melt. You're oatmeal, you'll lump!"
Carla
Loonie I have you on the salvia coccinea.
Sybram, I like a trade of your plox please. Would you like some mex hats or salvia coccinea? They are both nice in the heat and can take a lot of punishment.
Charlene
Charleneplants... were you looking for a rose cutting? I am not sure how to take one, but if you tell me how then I can bring you one of Double Delight....or I have Montezuma & a climber, Don Juan.
Charlene, do you think that Mexican Hat will thrive in a container? If so, can I have one?
Cindy, I think I'm going to pass. If you bring it tho, I might change my mind, unless someone else wants it. LOL
Last fall, we ate, traded, and chatted in the rain!
I still can not come. I wish I was a part of all this fun trading. Will miss seeing you. Dennis offered to bring some plants for me.
Charlene, I don't have blackfoot daisy, but am pretty sure I have 2 reddish orange gomphrena and a 2 seedling of Jackmanii. You can have one of each. I would like to give the other Jackmanii to TARogers and the gomphrena to Stephanie. Don't need anything back......maybe in the fall.
Awww, Anna. Will miss seeing you, but hope to see you in the fall.
Dennis, I have mex hat in a container that went through the record heat and drought and then recouped in same container left out in the low freezing cold through the winter. So, I shall bring you some mex hat.
Charlene
Cindy, I would love a few cuttings of the roses. Here is a link to help you:

Hey Sylvia, it looks like I just need to come and clean out your storage shed or garage! LOL
I will owe you big for all those goodies. I will bring you a very nice surprise.
Charlene
Anna, just label the plants and let me know when you want to drop them off. If I won't be around then you can leave them in the standard secret exchange location... ;)
Here's my promised list so far:
1 red yucca & clump of dichondra - Charlene swap for daffodil and rose
Mexican Petunia - TARogers5
clump of lirope & catmint cutting - catzgalore
I haven't looked at your list yet catz; but I will!
Syliva- if yo have any markers left, I'd like a few. Thanks.
Don't worry about sending plants back. I'll get you in the fall!
Dennis, I will drop them off sometime on Saturday.
BANANA18 would you and your neighbor like a Hosta or two? :) I forgot who the other person was that was so patient.
Anna, I can send one of my cranesbill geraniums to you via Dennis.
I am going to be out and about Saturday, but I'll watch for the delivery.
Don't have a link yet but some of what I am bringing are:
Scarlet Sage
Johnny Jump-ups
Tahoka Daisy
Laura Bush Petunia
Pink Laura Bush Petunia
Ox Eyed Daisy
Shasta Daisy
BF Weed
Now these are all babies but seem to be doing well.
Will list Smock's tomorrow!
:~)
Smockette!! Was wondering if you were going to be at the table next to me this time around! So glad to see that you and Smock will be joining us.
I'd like a Tahoka Daisy, please. Let me know if there's anything on my list you'd like in trade.
Will you have any bulbine this time?
Stephanietx, got you down for some Prairie Aster. I'm already @ Smock's but I'll ck his yard in the morning b4 we head to Sylvia's. If not, I'll bring some up next time I come to Cowtown!
:~)
Thanks! Anything you see on my list you'd like?
Stephanie, how much sun does the cranesbill geraniums need?
Sylvia, thanks for the hosta offer. I think I will wait until the fall and see how all the shade plants are doing. You will be happy to know I do have one hosta...I know you like the idea of atleast one in every garden!
They can take full sun or mostly full. Last year, I had them in a place that got bright light in the early morning, then full sun until about 4pm, then shade after that and they did wonderfully. They don't do well at all in full shade or mostly shade.
Stephanie, how about a Partridge Pea? I just love yellow!
Great! Gotcha covered.
Stephanie, I will bring you a clump of bulbine.
Charlene
Stephanie, glad Charlene is taking up my slack! lol
Just ck'd Smock's yard. Seems none of his survived the winter. Guess mine wouldn't have either since I'm further north & colder, if they hadn't been in GH#2.
Suz, I don't have the cherry brandy rose you were asking for. I can't even find a seller for it anywhere. I checked, because I always like to have a look at something that I haven't seen before. It seems to be a hard buger to find. So sorry.
I will bring you several daffodils.
Charlene
Linda, how do you tell the difference in ox eye daisy and shasta daisy?
Charlene
GF, I have planted so many seeds this yr, I don't know one fr the other but I have my book with me & I can show you.
Ox eyed are smaller & more random & Shasta are more 'organized' as for the blooms.
O-E grow 1-2' & Shasta grow to 3'. I'll show you Sunday!
Both are widely used by landscapers!
OKKKKK

Did I miss Anyone?
Charlene, thanks! You're so generous and kind!
Well Stephanie, I appreciate the comment, but actually you are bringing me so much, I think that was the least I could do. LOL When you got it, share it! You are and I want to share back!!
Charlene
Thanks for checking, Charlene. I'll just take daffodils-I love 'em!
TARoger5 - Can I trade for some worm castings? I have pampas grass that my guy told me was pink pampas grass years ago. I can cut a bit out for ya.
