To IB about the Market Place

Hi Michael!

Will IB's techs have the software to be able to expand the MarketPlace and make it a bit easier to use. I not only sell on it, but I shop on it too. I would liek to see if you click on say seeds, that folsk have the ability put their seeds in seperate catagories, like annuals, petunias, brugs, tropicals. More specialied areas instead of havign to try and look at hundreds of ads all jumble d under one category. Ther e might be good buys I am missing becaus e they are so buried and I may not be able to find something from somebody I specifically want.

Ella, I can bring that up and see what we can do. For now, I know the tech team is just trying to get their arms around the massive code that keeps the site running. However, they are also eager to act on suggestions for improvements as soon as they can ;o)

Thanks Terry, no rush. I find alot of bargins and thinsg I need from the marketplace ads and I liek to shop from folks I know here on the site when I can. Had been up at the Market Place and it remidne d me of that request.

I went to the Marketplace twice, and left because it was so poorly organized. I don't know why this wasn't set up better in the first place - it's certainly not the way Dave usually does things.

ANYTHING that can be done to make this site user friendly will be appreciated!

I think it was Dave sintention to eventually set it up better, but so many othe r things ha d to come first. At leats he made a place for us and I have bought a lot using it. I hardly ever go to ebay I come to Dg Market Place first.

I've used the search feature over there and was able to find what I was looking for without scrolling through everything.
starlight1153 is right, It was Dave's intentions to to set it up better.

If you want see items from one seller in particular put them in your friends section on your profile. Then you can click their profile and see all their marketplace items without necessarily going shopping for them. Karen

One think I wish could happen is that if there is more thatn one item purchased - sellers could combine them onto one invoice instead of having to send out separate invoices - this would be very helpful when adding/combining the shipping.
