Awful Bird Pics Volume 12
Those are great 'bad Shots' Nan. I can almost visualize the snow flakes coming down on the scene.
Good awful ones! Nanny, Are you still getting snow?
Very fun bad pics everyone.
Nanny, I like the blue jay in the air. Looks like he's coming out of a star gate.
Snake, wow on the eagles!
Thankfully we were spared more snow...we have had rain the last 2 days.....so my yard no longer looks like this which I took on friday. In the middle was still about 6'' deep. I make a square trail going around from the deck to where I have the feeders and back.Plus it gives our little dog a path to follow!
I'd say probably a Red-shouldered Hawk. But (as is fitting for a post on this thread ;-) the pic isn't good enough to tell for 100% certain.
Resin
Yeah! there's an unfortunate branch across its face. Of course.
When you zoom in you can persuade yourself it looks like an owl face but I really doubt that too. And the breast color seems to fit the hawk. I've had them here before
Yah, that's an Eagle. Or a 707.
LL are you feeding your birds Chile peppers? ;-)
Nice bad ones guys! :-)
Ahhh I recognized it! It's a White-throated Sparrow!
That Kestrel shot is good enough for the Daily Pics thread!
Lily, I see him.
Sure why not; you can tell it's a hawk and some kind of sparrow.
Wow, was that hawk having a little sip of water? I'm wondering if they'll ever come to my pond and bath or sip.
Yah, that Kestrel is amazing. closer than I"ve eve gotten
Cool Kestrel, I didn't know they're that colorful!
Thanks all for your comments.
Yes Mrs_Ed the Cooper's and Sharp-shinned quite often come to sip a little water, but so far I haven't seen the Kestrel on the bath. I see him hovering around so close to my house and I just can't get a good shot of him. Maybe this year;-)
This is the before shot of the hawk
well that's pretty darn cool.
Hey ...this is for BAD shots...LOL!
That Kestrel shot would be a keeper for me! Love that last hawk shot too!
You people are great!! You like my birds!! And I like yours;>}
Oh he is blurrific Marie!
