Yellow-rumped Warbler. I can't get those wonderful close-ups y'all have with this old camera, but these are the first pictures that I've taken in six months that aren't blurry, so I'm excited!
Daily piccies #283
Those are some funky lookin' birds!
Great pics everyone!
Claudcat, Love the Towhee&White-crowned Sparrow. Maybe Resin will see the woodpecker better than I can.
Burd, Great shots! Love the Red-breasted Nuthatch and handsome Red-bellied Woodpecker!
Hack, Yes that's a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. Sweet Nuthatch and Pine Warbler!
Elphaba, I LOVE the Anhinga!!!!!
Sally, Probably just came out of the forest during the snow.
Hey, Linth, you're looking really trimmed down. The exercise has done you good.
Linth, Love the image of you and all the snow you have shoveled, No wonder you are tired!!!!!
My daughter who lives in Fairfax, said she had more than 30 inches of snow. Her significant other is in the Emeritz (sp) visiting friends so he is missing all the snow and not at home to help her shovel snow. She has tried to keep a shovel wide path open from front door to street. Said snow at that time 2:30 pm her time, where she had piled from the narrow path, was shoulder high. She works in DC and doesn't plant to try to get her car out to go to work, besides the streets are not really plowed.
Thanks all you guys for the great bird pictures. Love seeing all your different birds. This is the first year I haven't had juncos or the various small sparrows in my yard at my feeders. Do have lots of Goldfinches and E, sparrows, and quail, but that is about all. A pair of chickadees come occasionally to the feeder, but are so quick I can't get a photo. Keep sending pictures so I can see them at your feeders.

Don't quite believe that snow.☺ Remember we live in snow country even when we didn't get it this time. Hope that you all are well down there.
Nice Job Charlie! I hope you have the heating pad out now
