How is Laura doing in the new job?

Yes, only get to see my sis once every five years or so...

Laura is getting used to the routine and the job and, so far, is very happy with it. It is perfect because she gets to be home for Sage and she gets to also keep her part time babysitting job.

Trish that's awesome for her! Hopefully it will keep working out!

Trisha I kinda come and go here, so I missed this. What kind of job did Laura get??

She books appointments for an Insurance Salesman. The company gets cards or referrals from different Union Members. Laura calls all of the potential customers and schedules appointments for the agent she works for. She, my father and I all worked doing phone surveys for the Dept. of Agriculture at one time. Laura is very good at this type of work.

That's great! So glad she finally got some work. I know so many people that don't have any right now.

Jaye, how did the kitty doctor visit go?

I love those picture of the sunshine........and that tree is something I would want in my front yard.

Ex called this morning. His mother had two strokes Monday and they went in to operate yesterday. She lapsed into a coma and her brain started to swell badly. The doctors did all kinds of tests and every one of them came back negative on any brain activity. The family had to take her off life support today. She did not make it. My kids are feeling pain like they have never felt before. Never had to deal with the death of someone this close to them. All I know to do is comfort them and answer any questions as honestly as possible. Anyways, so I am a little down tonight. She was a crazy lady and the kids thought she was the best grandma ever. She will be missed.

Julie So sorry to here about you Ex Mother in Law My ex is in the Hospital in Zion here and I did send for my son to fly in and see him he is getting better but he need take better care of himself .

Today I have a mamagram (SP) and Friday flaggers school Than on Sunday Doggie school Eddie and I will be learning things I need to get him ready for when I go back to work
Judy I am trying hard to get to your house I may just come for a couple of hours than come back home I forgot about the school I will call you later today
Eddie is now 66 pounds * months and he plop's on my lap or trys to lay next to me on the couch he is such a baby

Julie, so sorry of your girls' loss. Crazy ladies can be sorely missed too.
The vets visit went well, except for the check book. Bringing 2 more tomorrow for the physical and then appointments for snip and zip.
The ones with all those fancy computerized gadgets charge $30 for just the office visit, while the one with the most reasonable cost and no gadgets charge $10, and just as good.
