thanks.. it was a fun but exhausting trip.. next time I hope we can spend more than two full days there and not have to run so much
Allison - the photo series was such fun! So, when's the next vacation? Just so I can be ready and waiting for the next photo series.

it was a discounted trip with a travel agent I worked with.. since it was a large group it was super super cheap... we left on friday and came back on monday.. but we left in the morning so we didn't do anything but eat breakfast and leave.. and the first day was worthless since all the delays at the airport... we actually boarded a plane.. taxied out and turned back because something was wrong... got off the plane and waited forever to get another... AND because she was trying to get us the cheapest fair.... we had a darn transfer.. well all the starting mess added another hour delay at the stop over... we ate dinner and went to bed that day...
won't be a trip for a while.... money is needed for that... unless you guys want to donate to my photo journal!!!

Wonderful tour of LV. Everyone should go there at least once. There is so much to do and see even if you are not a gambler, which I am not. Zoos, shows, gardens, canal and roller coaster rides, light show "downtown". And for all the shoppers lots of goodies to temp you or just look at if you want to just browse. Just touring the different hotels is an experience. People of all shapes and sizes from all over the world. Side trips to Grand Canyon, Hoover Dam, other national parks. Only trip we took that I would not do again was the freebie bus ride to Laughlin. Long ride to see more casinos and that's pretty much it. Desert scenery is nice but after 15 minutes you have seen it all. This is a place so over the top in every respect that there is no place like it anywhere else.

First time I used the telephoto on the camera---I am upstairs, out the window, & yes, you CAN see the flowers on the heather/heath!

Thanks! It's gorgeous in spring. I sed to drop my wife off in midtown and drive though the park about 6:30 AM. It was so inviting in spring.
