I might have to do the meatloaf for Randy too.. I ask what you like for a special new years dinner... he replies meatloaf
just makes me shake my head
Valentine's Day
LOL sounds like mine. I ask him at least once a month before a store trip: "What would you like to have for dinner that we haven't had in a while?" This is obviously a very confusing question. He has trouble with it. So, I make whatever he comes up with. He didn't ask for the anniversary meatloaf, he justs gets it! But I make a good dessert and we have wine with it.

Picked up the homemade truffles today----champagne, wicked dark, strawberry, & black forest---they are large, so we'll make them last! DH wanted to try one today!
OoooooH! please! be my Valentine and bring me truffles!
Martha
These are hand made at the shop, & so good!
Today is the day!! My wedding anniversary of 27 years. Still love my DH who is bringing a card and dessert for dinner. Oh, and the wine. 27 years, one house, 2 children, 3 dogs, about umpteen cars, and we are still together. I love you, Brian!

Happy Anniversary Martha & Brian!!!!!!!
Happy anniversary!!!!
E-CARDS that it.
Very romantic, Martha!
picked up some roses today so i do not have go out tomorrow - usually 15 or so at the local grocery store - not today 27 - thieves
Ouch!
wife is happy with them that's the important thing.
Went out this PM and bought the needs for making Ghirardelli Sinful Truffles, Pink Roses, asparagus soup, and a mushy card. Holly always likes the ones I pick, so much so that she often has me pick up cards for the kids and grand babies. I guess I'm a hopeless romantic, Ric
I guess it could be worse, I could just be hopeless! LOL :-)
DH doesn't do valentine'sDay--not in his childhood, I think. Anyway we have been appily married for 51+ yrs so it doesn't matter.
I just came home from sister day to a dozen roses. I'm sure they were from the grocery store, but that's better than the really expensive ones. I like them, and it was a nice surprise.
Happy Anniversary, Martha and Brian. And many more
Jeff and I went out for lunch. We were just going to LOOK at kitchen appliances, mind you. We went to an appliance store in Delaware that had been recommended and after about 2 hours with the owner who was willing to work with us, we made an agreement for a frig, range, DW, and a vent. They will order them for us and keep them until the summer or when Jeff is ready for them. Can hardly wait. We did not just use one brand, but different ones. So my Valentine's Day, Birthday, and Christmas is covered for the next 25 years. ^_^
My son keeps busting my chops and telling me they are taking me out to dinner at 9 in the morning.
Happy Valentine's Day!!!
Happy Valentines day to all. thinking of you.
Happy Valentines Day and Happy Tiger Year!

Yes he is a hopeless romantic and it was a wonderful Valentines Day. He puts all the right feelings into the day. HOLLY
Way to go, Ric!
Hope everyone had the kind of day they wanted!
Just got back from an Italian dinner, very nice. Went early.
we went to a pizza party over at a friend of Michele's... was a nice day with a nice group of people
Sorry, no cats, people are allergic here. I like 'em but DD and DH are sadly allergic. Had a nice roast chicken dinner for Valentines.

That was the LONGEST race EVER!!! Great ending though. We were supposed to go to breakfast but didn't get up on time. I had a LONG nap, I needed it.
DH got me a card and chocolate.
Later we took DD to a college visit.
