I can say my hometown has the best ethnic food anywhere... the polish & italian food is top notch!!!

I like really good chocolate and go to a chocolate shop here - my favorite is dark chocolate peanut butter cups - the peanut butter isn't that sweet, mmm. They also have a milk chocolate caramel cashew drop that is excellent.

Friday, the 12th. is our anniversary. We met on Halloween at a party in costume, he proposed on the fourth of July after a double-header AAA baseball game, so there were fireworks, and we got married on the closest Saturday to Valentine's Day in 1983 which was the 12. I am having a lovely time reminiscing with my family and friends since the day before my wedding, it started to snow in NJ at noon and didn't stop until early morning on the 12th., just like it did in NJ this week. Some guests got stranded out of town, I had three guests at my ceremony and no organist, and the day itself was a sunshine treasure.
To celebrate our anniversary, I make a heart-shaped meatloaf in a pan I got as a shower present. On Valentine's day, we exchange boxes of conversation hearts and cards.

I liked the info on the zodiac signs---I'm a sheep---most of what was printed was pretty true----my DH is a dog----not compatible----but 36 years proves otherwise! As for Valentine's Day, DH will get a card----I won't because he can't manage walking into a store anymore. There's a candy store in the town to the north of us that makes super truffles----I'll buy a few for us to share. Then, because it's Sun., the family will descend for dinner! Loved the idea of a heart-shaped meatloaf----will try it.
