This room needs serious help. It is a light lavender wiht purple trim (ick) and has wood floors in a light oak. I want cherry wood with a nautical medalion on the floor. The walls will be painted pale ocean colors. When that happens, the desk will be cleaned off and kept nice! LOL

I've been there a lot lately.

I have a small "studio aquarium" where I've been taking fish & plant pictures next to my monitor (Betta in there now). It's a heritage house with a view of the garden, a bench in the background & small pond and porch on the right side. There's a Camellia in bloom next door which towers over the neighbour's house and the Vine Maple infront of the window gives a bit of privacy from the road. I'm a paper pack-rat and temporarily moved all the papers. I've finally got to the point where I can do landscape design over the phone using the LA's flickr pictures and it works beautifully if I can only remember to throw out all my scratch papers (sourcing/plant selection/notes). My chair is from a garage sale and is practically in pieces but want an old oak swivel chair and someday a real roll-top like kwanjin (nice!).

It's nice to live in a house in the centre of the city but the Skunks can make quite a racket and smell if I'm home. My "room with a view".

With that view..I'd be hard pressed to keep my mind on the work!
