You didn't screw it up so good for you. So overwatering or too hot or too cold are all no-nos for streps. I asked a question and just removed it because I found the answer in the Strep Killer thread.

Stop your drooling over my plants as you also know what I have you can have just for the asking... That is what we do for each other here.... :-) I am going to get a bath now then run to the store as I am tired of soup and pizza... I need a meal today... I am also going to foilage feed my plants today....
Ok for a recoup... I am sending to Shanika tomorrow some plants, Jan also and Anna(not sure of name) these are babies...

Charity my butt.... This is what friends do... we share.... So Lou you are now again a friend... If you kill them oh well we always have more.... Lou I think about two years ago I sent you a plant that you had been wanting . It was a pony tail palm or something like that.... You also look after your sister right? If not excuse me I am brain dead...LOL
Ok the boxes are packed and ready to go... There is a problem and I could not fix it ... If the weather is real cold I had nothing to insulate the boxes with... Shanika and Jan I don't believe there will be a problem but the others may... If they don't make it in the alive mode then down the road I will try again.... I did get to send every baby in the tub... Also understand that if there is more then one plant in the baggie it may not be the same color... I just grouped them...LOL There were at least 6 per person ... I am happy they are going to a good home... Oh to the people I never sent to before... I never expect anything in return....NEVER..... I am not backwards as to ask if you have something I would like... Also if you can't afford to ship the plant or what ever and I or others want it... Ask for shipping... as there are times when I may have to ask... We are all different and I don't know about you all but there are some months better then other for money....

That is a beautiful picture.... I did not forget about the strep but with everything going on in the house I am sorry to say they are dead now... Down the road I will buy another Siren and then share with you...

I have not had the time to take care of them proper and when I do take care of them it seems like I am killing by over watering... We have a wood stove and it is drying them out so fast... One min. they look great and a hour later they are wilted... I will get it right...LOL We will get a Siren or what ever the spelling is...LOLOL

Susan, Thanks so much! No, I'm not the lady that looks after her sister. I have half heimers and I remember the person but not the name. You have sent me many plants before and all have thrived except for the streps. I'm laid off from work, so I will watch cafrefully for the mailman and make sure I bring it in quickly. Daytime temps are running in the low forties so I think the box should be okay. Lou

I know what you mean Susan! Our air has been so dry this winter... I am guessing because the air temps have been so cold! It seems like my plants inside are drying our much faster too! Mine survive by quite a bit of neglect in winter months! LOL! We'll worry about that Seren again come spring!

Well Ladies I hate to tell you all this but I went to the post office only to find it closed... It is Martin L. King day... So I work tomorrow and I am picking up and elderly ladies 3 animals and taking them to work with me as she can't do it anymore... Her animals are her life and she is a very nice lady... So I feel is the least I can do for her.... I am hoping I will have time to go to the post office before it closes... I was so mad LOLOL

Seren , is the only strep that I could not keep alive and it drives me nuts... ok more nuts then normal day...LOL

Well the lady I am helping really loves her animals and she does not live that far from me... So I always feel if I try to good for the older people that when I get up in years more then maybe I will be lucky to have someone want to help me..
I am bring the plants with me to work and I am going to try and swing by the postoffice on the way home.... Even if I have her animals with me...

Black Pearl Sport- I couldn't wait any longer to take a picture of her, until she opens fully. I've been waiting for 2 months for this bud to open! I asked my club prez. if it was normal for her to take so long to open and she chuckled and said yes, she's very slow. LOL I took off some leaves tonight and will throw them in the prop box. Hope she doesn't take as long to grow babies. Anyway, she has to be my most favorite blooming right now. She is awfully pretty, I'm so in love with this bloom. Just think, I almost threw her way when she didn't perform as quickly as I thought she should! What a mistake that would have been.

She is pretty even not fully open... Great growing... Oh Lynn I will get them to the post I just hope they do ok..LOL

Well five boxes went flying today to there new homes..... My boss had to go to the post office after work so she took mine for me... They went Priority Mail... So hopefully by Friday you should be getting them....

How nice of your boss to take them for you. It was up to the 40's here today and went for a walk after work it was so nice to be outside when it's not subzero out. The plants should be fine with these temps too which is even better.

Susan, do you have any advice for those of us who've never grown these lovely plants? Should I repot it soon or is it fine for awhile? I think they need more light than AVs yes?

I am not a person who can always explain with my brain wants my mouth to say. I will try.... First these will have to be put in a pot because they are coming with roots and dirt... So put them in around 2inch pot give them a little water then put them under your lights or in the window.. Don't get in a habit of over watering... that is a good killer... Some may tell you to dome them or put them in a baggie... I don't do this but it may work for you....
Mary(MIL) x rays said she had pneumonia and Kevin seen the doctor yesterday and wanted to know how she is and she is getting better... I kicked her butt tonight as she is getting older and does not want to admit to certain things... I mentioned that we had to give her her cough medicine and she said yeah and I took my other pill for tonight... I said what pill... Turns out she took her morning antibiotics... This is not her first time she has taken meds not at the right time... You may think I am a bad person but when the doctors tell her she is ok and I tell her to keep her hands off the meds... It gets hard.... Last time she was double dosing a drug and she went loopy.... She has a very low tolerance to meds.... This was the second time I had to talk with her since she has been sick.... So I read her the riot act in a very nice way and told her to leave the meds ALONE....
