for those kind of shots... I would need my tripod... hands are too shaky!! ... never do it though
Miscellaneous Shots
I'm guessing WC did.
I have to start using mine, now that I spent $ on a good one. I have never used one in the garden, but it does make a difference for sharpness.
Naww, I could never use a tripod and catch a fly, by the time I got the tripod ready and the camera aimed and all the screws set, etc., the fly would be gone! Those are hand-held, the problem is that I don’t have image stabilization on my macro lenses! That’s what makes it so hard! Lol! - ‘Ya cant even breathe! Hee hee!
Wow WC those are wonderful shots. You certainly must have a steady hand.
Good hands! I'm pretty steady. Kind of like shooting a gun. Relax, breathe and gently squeeze.
Exactly! And don’t 'tighten up' on the lens! lol!
Or sneeze!
lol!!
No hiccups either.
cool
My eyes are crossing already........feel the headache coming on. LOL

Nice shots, Bill! Cool to have a turtle. I like them.
Not a snapping turtle those things are NASTY!!!
the snapper does not stay in the pond - just hangs around for a bit - mostly sun turtles
Love the turtle travel saga Bill. We usually have at least one that thinks the driveway is the path to the perfect egg laying site. They get really big and the snapping part is good to stay clear of, but they do manage to cover a lot of ground surprisingly fast.
you got that right - i went back to what is was doing for 10 minutes and could not find the turtle - can not believe it made it a few hundred feet to the pound that fast
Loved the turtle saga!!
Beautiful Venu!
Very idyllic!
