Great shot WC. I never would have known that there is so much beige in their feathers.

That's more of a winter trait, actually their feathers are red on top and gray toward the stem area. It's almost as if the cold wind burns some parts of the red feathers to a beige...

Spent some time learning woodpecker calls this evening. It takes good ears to separate the different drumming.
