Very dark brown, but I bet by crossing with Black King, to do even darker.

Superb cultivar on its yellow-green foliage.

Dany, You have a very good hypothesis with crossing Black King with a chocolate to try for a darker chocolate. It would probably yield great results. Karen

Dany - Beautiful photos of Ten Ten! I have that one on my list to grow again this year. I think it may do much better growing in a container (rather than in the ground when I grew it before). At least I am hoping so! :-) I have got a lot of seeds I want to grow this year!

So many seeds, so little space and time ...

Large bloom with only 6 petaloids - Ipomoea Nil Africa has only 5 petaloids.

Some Nil have until 9 petaloids (I have not seen yet ! ).
ps: there is no correlation between the size of the flower and the number of petaloid.

Dany,

Have you tried contacting the owners of the photographs you posted to see if they would be interested in trading seeds with you? One day you just might get a favorable response!

I contacted a lady who had beautiful pictures of all cultivars from KU, so all reference Q .... his answer was: a series of addresses in Japan where I can buy seeds and the KU site where everyone can apply for some seeds every year in the month of May.

Here is an other large bloomer cultivar with 3 different names.
1 = Heian no Kaori

If I remember correctly Ron said that he is very probably the same cultivar.
His second name is: Akatsuki no Hikari

His third name is: Orihime (Vega)
Several companies produce it.
