Congratulations, it is a nice write-up.
Congratulations on the First Place in the Heirloom Tomato category at the Jacksonville Tomato Fest too. What kind was it?

The writer left out an important detail: I was the only entrant this year in that category. :-) It was the Mexico midgets variety.

Yep, 4 children. Ages 4 through 11.

hehe, then you should have gotten a couple more ribbons to go along with the blue. Mexico midgets, huh? Will have to look that up.... looking up.... (they have nice positive comments in Plantfiles http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/108032/ )

You must have had 3 children when I joined in 05 or the 4 year old are twins. I know it is just imagination but I do picture a very nice family - wonderful parents and an idyllic childhood. My best to your family & I hope you all have a wonderful year ahead.

Thanks Angele. When you joined the site, our 4th had only been born a couple weeks earlier.

Great write-up Dave! This is the first picture I have seen of you. I had imagined you as an older, rotund gentleman (the Santa Claus type). LOL
With your intellect and knowledge you just had to be older. Now the rotund part, not sure were that came from. Ha ha. Well now I know. You are younger than I am. :)

Great writeup Dave! Congratulations!

I agree, a very nice write up! We all know Dave through this wonderful garden that he created but it's great to read interviews too ... and now we get to hear his voice! Dave was interviewed on a garden radio show! Even though the radio show was earlier this morning, you can still listen! I posted a direct link on this thread (about the fourth post down) if you'd like to listen to the interview: http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1068242/

Thanks for the link plantladylin. Very enjoyable listening.
