Words and Language
I always wear white when cooking tomato sauce or ketchup. I used to have a dress JUST like that but I had to dye it red to match the spots. ^_^
LOL!
Watching House Hunters on HGTV/hulu last night. The woman described the rooms in the house sprawling but too boxy/closed in...how can they be both?
Today I heard a reporter on NPR use the word "demagogue" as a verb at least five times: e.g., "Obama was demagogued when he was running for President."
I kid you not.

It is an intransitive verb.
I probably should start a new thread soon.
Thought of a few more I like. 'Bellicose'. Why are all the words with nasty meanings so cool?!! Whenever I read, hear or say that, I always visualize Bela Lugosi!
Coincidence that 'monogamous' and 'monotonous' are so close?? ^_^
Change 'gam' to 'ton' and you have it. Hmmm.
There was a lot of "He was demagoging" (or she)
I've always considered it a noun. If a verb as well, I have not seen it as such. Sounds like the people are happy because they found a new word.
They just love turning nouns into verbs these days. Let's call it verbing a noun!
Our high school just received their NECAP scores. I can't remember off the top of my head what that stands for, something like national education test which measures what the kids know. The lowest scores were in 11th grade writing. Stands to reason, doesn't it? Once they learn to text, they kinda forget the writing skills.
I get a daily e-mail with a word of the day, and one of this week's words was oligopoly. It means a market condition where there are few sellers. But who cares what it means? It's just fun to say!
In a college botany course (I wasn't interested in gardening at the time sigh) I always liked to say the name Loblolly pine.. It kinda rolled off the tongue.
BTW I'm ignoring your comment Victor. hee-hee
edited to say : I like the word oligopoly also

Demagogue has been used as a verb for a long time. The worst 'verbalized' noun is gift. Re-gift is worser than worst!
