OK, last one for now...I found a Towhee scritch-scratchin' around in the leaves behind the house last evening...the lighting wasn't great
DAILY PICS VOL. 271
Missy, congratulations on the new Warbler. It sure is cute. The goldfinches look happy with all that food. This is the first year I haven't seen a Pine Siskin with our goldfinches.
Burn your little dove is beautiful in that snow-brrrr! That little goldfinch sure looks curious.
Burd, this is one of my favorites of Elvis. Don't think you need the longer lens when you already get this close. You can't move! What will Elvis do without you? Also, that's a beautiful chickadee and junco. Sure looks cold though.
Beautiful Downy wp and love the flying shots. Love, love love the Starlings!
Margaret, you are so lucky to even see a Kingfisher sitting still for 2 seconds!
Pelle, stay warm!!
Birdlady, cute wp, wren, heron and kinfisher!! Cute titmouse and towhee too! Hope you'll stick around with us for a while.
We finally got a little rain on New Year's day and the birds looked pretty waterlogged.
Geesch Nanny, it's freezing there! Stay warm. Your birds are all cute and are probably glad you have lots of food for them.
Crazybirdlady, That must be a great spot for birds at the river; nice pics!
Duc, That saturated Kinglet is adorable!
Nanny, Nice shots!
Chris, All your birds look great!
Dave, Love the angle!
A lot of great pictures everyone. I'm afraid I won’t be taking any pictures today. It’s so heavily overcast the street lights are still on! It’s 11 A.M. local time!!! It might be one of those dark winter days when the street lights stay on all day.
Chris, great job on your sparrow, junco and finch. Hope the hawk moves on and leaves your birds alone. Also, hope it warms up for you.
Dave, spectacular pose on your BB.
Adel, that's a gorgeous Stellar. I've never been able to get one that close-great job!!
Thanks, ducbucin, I love this forum, I just have too many other things going on what with my husband's illness but I enjoy looking at everyone else's pics even when I don't have any to post.
Your poor little soggy RCKinglet...I've never had one come down to my feeders but I see/hear them up in the trees all the time.
I do think the birds love the cold weather
