Buggy's going out of business!!!!???

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Cold here
no bulbs for me
Let 's see what spring brings

Southern, WI(Zone 5a)

That's what fridges are for ge. Lucky for me my family doesn't complain to much about one of the bins being used for seeds and bulbs. So what I am saying is ....where there's a will, there's a way. Lol.

Fate, TX(Zone 8a)

chocolatemoose........zone 1!!!!??? really? there's a zone 1? and you love it. hats off to you. what do you do say on a saturday for fun? lol.

North Pole, AK(Zone 1)

Saturday for fun? Any day of the week, personally, we like to:

Winter-Snuggle...Eat...buy way too many seeds for spring, buy waaayyyy toooo many lily bulbs, drool over all the other wayyyy too many things I "need" to grow...Snuggle some more...Bonfires and fireworks on New Year's Eve under the lightest, most gentle snowfall you can imagine (because we have 24 hours of daylight on the 4th of July so you can't really see the fireworks...LOL)...Enjoy the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis)...catch up on DVD's...stay warm...order more stuff to plant...stress over all the stuff I have coming in...snuggle...enjoy the increasing brightness each day after winter solstice (because while it's not dark, like everybody thinks, it sure ain't bright out either from mid-Dec-mid-Jan...kinda like dusk, then almost daylight, then dusk, then nighttime)...go visit Santa whose house is 2 miles away...check out the World Ice Carving Championships in March held 15 miles from where I live

Summer...Plant, Plant, Plant...move stuff around that I've planted...water the stuff I've planted...panic over the stuff I have no room for...Clear a teeny tiny patch that DH will never notice has new flowers growing (he's as passionate about his grass and his trees as I am about flowers)...go putting down the river to cook hotdogs on a stick once we find a sandbar in the middle of the day...go fishing (my gear is all professional strength and PINK so I can haul in the 40" pike)...go camping in the quietest, most pristine places that few people can ever get to...catch a view of Mt. McKinley if the clouds are not covering it...let's see...go camping, then come back home to check on my babies while DH unloads the camper or the boat (cause he knows I won't help with that till I know my babies all survived me leaving them-4 days MAX for that)...sit on the deck at 11:00 P.M. with sunglasses on and enjoying the scent of the Orientals surrounding us...walk around the yard with my Honey enjoying the beauty of my flowers and the lushness of his grass at midnight, because it's daylight out and we CAN...enjoy 65-80 degree, dry, windless days and 60-65ish degree nights...Pretend that winter is never coming back...

Year round--Suffer Zone envy...

Edited to stay on Topic:
Order a box deal from Buggie in December, absolving her from all responsibility when I begged her to ship to my P.O. box. I do NOT recommend putting her through that again...I begged, kept my fingers crossed and now they are just chillin' in the lily fridge with all their siblings and cousins...

Lisbon, IA(Zone 5a)

So, is Buggy done taking orders for the year? I guess I could go look at her site.... duh... :) It's early here.

Greensboro, NC(Zone 7a)

You should email her--they're having weird weather and she was wanting to get things shipped before anything got frost/freeze damage. It never hurts to ask right? ;)

I wandered through again and clicked on most stuff that wasn't marked as Sold Out and they were put into a cart without a problem so those items were apparently still available. If you wanted to shop, I'd definitely email her and ask:)

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

hope she continues in business.
I'd like a dollar for everytime I wanted to quit.

Long Branch, NJ(Zone 7a)

She's still selling some of her individual varieties at the lily auction site. End date says Jan 30. She might modify the listing if there's some left.

Kennewick, WA

Hey guys, I got my lilies from ehr and they are everything you said and more. She said she could only sell me 'smaller bulbs' since she didn't have any giants left. I think she needs new glasses because most of the bulbs were HUGE.

That said, she told me she has a bunch of Eremurus left that she couldn't plant. I ordered one for inclusion in my box and WOW! NICE!

I highly recommend her for her Eremurus as well. Love love, LOVE!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Glad she is still shipping

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

cant wait for mine to appear.I have no idea where they were planted.

Fate, TX(Zone 8a)

i have envy now. i want eremurus in texas. how fresh was the thing ulta?

Kennewick, WA

Looked freshly dug. no withering, all looked FANTASTIC.

Really really nice. I'm looking forward to Spring/Summer!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I ordered her Asiatic mix last November. There were more than 25 bulbs.
I went crazy in the garden.

ge, that's a bucket full of bliss!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

Thanks.Patti's idea.Just had to have.
This is a dangerous time of year because I conquer boredom by searching the garden for places to put bulbs and plants.
Spring better come soon or I'll be broke.
