Dirt, that's an interesting link you posted. Sure does look like everyone's buried under the snow. Beautiful photo of that chickadee too.

Beautiful shots everyone and Duc thanks for the new start. I have never seen a Golden Crowned Sparrow and this year the Juncos are very scarce!
It has been mostly cold and gloomy in our area for the past week but this morning the sun was shining so I ventured to the brush pile again. Nothing new there...just the usual gang eating the chopped corn and sunflower seeds.
Here is an immature or female White-crowned Sparrow. I just love to hear this cheerful little bird sing...alway so joyful!
boy Rose, those pictures are perfect
Thanks Marna...the light was beautiful this morning and I stayed out long enough to freeze my fingers and toes...took about 2 hours to thaw out!!

Hack
Nice shots Hack!! Congrats on the R-c K!
Congrats Hack!
Yesterday was the last day of the season for the counters at Sea Watch in Avalon. This program is through NJ Audubon/ Cape May Bird Observatory.

This spot is great because the land goes out a mile further into the ocean than the land to the North. Here is a little history and info on it.

A spotting scope really comes in handy here but the counters are very nice and helpful if your visiting. I was there last Fall and saw 2 new birds in a short amount of time (Northern Gannet & Northern Goshawk).
Hack, congrats on the new Lifer!
Dark and rainy here....again!
Rose- nice capture of in a 'I'm cute' Harris pose
