Oh I get it now.... you were humoring me AGAIN when last May I sent you the link to Daves Garden and asked if you ever been there and you said "I shall have a look at it later."

I am sure you won't recall that conversation. . . . .keeps you out of trouble LOL

Just wondering ....does anyone find this amusing? :*)

Hi Jen,

I didn't hear from you sooner and I'm sorry to say that I sent all my 'George Davidson' Crocosmias (from 2 potted plants) to 2 other members. I didn't want the GD ones anymore.

I do have 2 other kinds of Crocosmias, 'Venus' and 'Lucifer'. I'll have to wait until the end of Summer to see if I can send any of those to anyone. Would you be interested in those if I divide them? Let me know Jen.

Hi Marilyn,

Thanks for writing back. Glad you found homes for the GD. I may be interested in Venus when you are ready. Perhaps our paths will cross again for another transaction.

BTW I thought I would look to see if you had a want list in case I could repay your kind offer and noticed you have Daylily 'Woman's Scorn' Hemerocallis.... lf you ever considering part with one .... please let me know! Not up on my Hemerocallis, so don't be insulted with this offer. I just purchased Night Beacon and would trade NIght Beacon for Womans Scorn.

Happy Gardening!

Regards
~ Jen

Jen,

I don't have that one, I saw it at Valley of the Daylilies, which is owned by Dan and Jackie Bachman. Dan hyb. that Daylily and some others. I've known them both since the Summer of 1999 and they are both great people! Here's their website and the second link is the one for them on the Garden Watchdog.

One of the Daylilies that Dan hyb. is 'Hell Hath No Fury' (a sib to 'Woman's Scorn'), it's a big and beautiful red!

Hey Marilyn,

Thanks for the link.....wow beautiful site !!!

Tickles me....the trade I offered .....did you get a good chuckle? I am still LMAO since I saw the price.

Honestly.... just loved Woman's Scorn as soon as I saw it...had NO idea the cost.....figures !!!! Well I like it and I printed the order form and sending it off tomorrow. Did not see a pic of Hell Hath No Fury. Have you seen that on their site?

Have time to search for pic of Hell Hath No Fury.... can barely afford Woman's Scorn. I better take one more look at it in the morning to make sure it is a "got to have" before I mail off the order form.

Thanks for sharing info, you are very kind.

Jen,

I meant to add that I have 'Hell Hath No Fury' amd when the time comes that I have enough, I can give you a fan or two. Don't want any other Daylily back in trade. I'm trying not to have too many anymore.

This is the link on the Valley of the Daylilies that shows all the introductions of Dan Bachman's. Just click on the VOTD Introductions and then you can click on all Introductions (and/or future introductions below that).

This is the actual link of 'Hell Hath No Fury' with its photo and description.

This is the Daylily named after me, Marilyn Grua. ;-))

I have 18 of Dan's introductions, counting the one named after me.

Thanks for the kind words.

Good Morning Marilyn,

Almost enjoy 'Hell Hath No Fury' more than 'Woman's Scorn' Thanks for pic.

Yes, still ordering 'Woman's Scorn' am absolutely tickled to receive 'Hell Hath No Fury' from you. Now that is very kind! THANK YOU! . . . Always enjoy a plant more when it comes as a random act of kindness.... so really looking forward to that to go along with 'Woman's Scorn'.

Also found 'Butterfly Kisses', 'Bluebery Candy' 'Carolina Sun Fun', 'Rainbow Skies' and 'Too Marvelous'

I am curious as to how the Daylily named after you came about. Did they decide after studying it that this "IS" Marilyn or what? It is awesome!

Regards,

~Jen
