Ok, i will be good.................

Northeast, LA(Zone 8a)

I think the reason we all are interested in the yellow is all we have ever seen or been offered here is the common orange and Lucifer. I love them all Emily McKenzie, Little Readhead, Emberglow Amberglow and I can go on and on . I do so wish I could stroll through your gardens to see all the varieties in bloom. I promise I would only snitch a few seeds. I'm sure they are overcrowded anyway. HeHe They are under used here because no one has filled that niche with reasonable prices. I see most sites want $7.95 for one corm. Yow that is high. Oh well I shall look at yours until prices decrease.

Caistor, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

Oh miss Riverland..................................... you have D-Mail!!!!!!!

Caistor, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

yeah you are probably right...................... USA doesnt seem to have many at all..........!!
You can come here and stroll through the garden anytime you want!!!!!
May even give you a few to take home............

$7.95 for one corm is about what some people charge here............... especially those on ebay!!!!

Hey, some of mine, the rare ones i have paid $40 for one corm........................

Hebron, KY

Violet_Treasure
and
Riverland,

If I can dig my yellow 'George Davidson' corms up today or tomorrow (if the ground and weather cooperate with the temp), I'll send you both some. I don't know how many I have, but I'll be glad to share a few with you both. Let me try to dig and I'll let you both know.

Marilyn

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

Marilyn your so kind ! I do love them all all clors and all plants ! Yellow is Sunny, Cheerful, Striking warm Smiley color full of cheer and hope !!
Yellow flowers go good with every color ! I love Yellow and Blue flowers growing together ! Yellow and Orange flowers or both colors together is so warm and strking ! Sunny Smiley Yellow !!
Please let me know where to send the postage :))

Northeast, LA(Zone 8a)

Hey Marilyn Bless you!!!!! I really love these plants. I'd really appreciate any that you might share. I would be glad to trade something or pay postage. I am in the address exchange or if easier I can dmail it to you Waahoo !!!! This is going to be a great Christmas. My hubby is getting me a greenhouse so I can grow some plants myself. There is a learning curve in this. We live on this great big place that is barren of plants. I have been begging for seed, starter plants , corms or rhizomes. My budget is blown for awhile for purchasing. Besides its more fun to plant something that another gardener has entrusted you with..So all you wonderful greenthumbed gardeners out there please don't throw anything away I have a spot for it.

Riverland WOW Is that your home and land . Gorgous ! Do you have pictures of any of your garden beds or is all this land new !!
We just live in a 55 plus park but blessed the yards are 60 ft. by 100 ft.
It's so much fun growing seeds, cuttings... from friends !

Seale, AL(Zone 8b)

Mark. ... yep I did spend all that time searching the net. As it's the holiday, I thought I would try and play a Secret Santa. Course I might be able to look that part more if you'd pas s me that sausage sandwhich your Momma brought you. LOL

Riverland is right. You just can't get all the colors you have her e in the US. You need to pack up your gardens and move em all ove r here . Love the pics, but would love to se e them better in person.

How about breeding a really shocking purple one? I didn't notice on your sight anywhere, but some time s it hard to see when your drooling at the pages . Do you , have you, are ya gonna, breed em?

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

How about Blue ! Blue would be pretty with Yellow :))

Lincoln Park, MI(Zone 5a)

Oh yeah.......blue and yellow...........come on Mark you can do it!!!!!

Caistor, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One day i am gonna breed them, yes.................... but i doubt i will ever get a blue one!!!!
The thing to have would be a white one.......................
Ok, I will come to yours Ella, and bring my whole garden with me.................!!!! LOL

Demi............................. OK, i will try, just for you!!!!!! Maybe even a Black one for you!!

Lincoln Park, MI(Zone 5a)

OHHHH...Yes I love black!!!!!!!!!don't you???????

Caistor, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM My favourite colour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lincoln Park, MI(Zone 5a)

Goodie...does that mean your gonna try??????

Caistor, United Kingdom(Zone 8b)

Oh yes................................

Northeast, LA(Zone 8a)

Violet treasure yes that is my home and land. All of my beds are new this year so not worth any pictures yet. Hopefully someday soon I will have pretty gardens. It just takes great amounts to make a dent when the area is large. This used to be a rock unloading site for an asphalt plant. It was completely barren. We have spent most of our time and budget planting trees and grass. That was high priority to stop erosion. Now I am trying to add some color and softer lines to the landscaping.

Dunedin, FL(Zone 10b)

WOW So much fun ! I'll be looking forward to seeing up dated pictures ! We love growing by seed :))

Seale, AL(Zone 8b)

Is tryign to get a blue one, like thos e of us still workign on trying to get that $64,000 blue daylily?? : )
White shouldn't be hard to do. Just alot of outcrossing and back crossing and years of patience waiting for them to grow up and bloom. Black... think that woudl be the challenge, but then you could name it after you... " Gardening Devil" " Friendly Devil... " LOL

New Bern, NC(Zone 8a)
