Just mailed mine a few miles west, so I hope it doesn't get delayed.
Secret Trade-What Did You Get
Mailed mine this morning! I hope it is recieved by Wednesday or Thursday! I have never mailed so late into a trade so I am very sorry to my secret trader for making them wait! sue
I am on my way to the post office but my secret trade person is in PA... I truly hope these things don't get delayed!!!
I read all these posts after I had packed the first box and realized I didn't pack nearly enough stuff for my dear trader, so went back and gleaned all the seeds I have for her, too.
I am new and nothing is really big enough to separate or take cuttings from yet... I started from scratch this spring! I hope my trade person loves what I sent... but I'm afraid I don't have the variety everyone else does, and that makes me sad.
This is so sweet, how everyone is taking such great care to send things. What a wonderful group. I hope my trade person is happy with what I have to give.
Love to all,
Janie Joy

Got my secret trade from NewPenny today. Let's see, she sent two foxglove plants, 3 native ferns, native coral bells and a piggy-back plant. All is planted except for the piggy-back plant. That is a houseplant, isn't it? Thanks for the great surprises. Brenda

I'm hoping mine gets there too, didn't have very far to go, so maybe:)
tiG,
I had just finished a hosta trade with my secret trader, so I know that he has my email addy. My concern is if it got there ok. If I don't hear from him by tonight, I'll send an email tomorrow, just in case he forgot.
Jan
I'd cross my fingers for you, but Nanook and pupper got them with the ruler and well....:)
Well Jan if he forgot maybe he needs the "ruler", giggle.
Sent mine yesterday.....and am happy to say that someone in GA is getting exactly what they wished for.

A big thank you to JSS! I got this (very heavy) box today with a LARGE Coreopsis 'Rosea' (I'm so excited to finally have some!) and a Phygelius capensis ("Orange Cape Fuchsia"), which sounded soooo tropical, but sure enough, it's hardy to my zone, and will add a nice splash of orange to my garden next summer. Which my DH will also adore (giggle, he's a dyed-in-the-wool TN fan, so anything orange thrills him....) Thank you so much Jeannie!!!!!
Now I'm off to the garden to find spots for these new "babies"!
Edit: Oh, and how could I forget the cute scarecrow stuck in the midst of the plants - he's a miniature version of one in my yard, and I'm going to perch him in my entryway - thanks!!!!!

I received my secret trade plants today from tamlamb. I'm not familiar with most of them, so maybe someone can send me some info on them.
Forsynthia x intermedia
Varigated Monkey Grass
Sedum Spectabile "Meteor"
Star of Bethleham bulbs
an unknown hosta
4 or 5 Iris roots (I think) they weren't labeled.
Thank you Tammy. If I misspelled something, please let me know. Are these all perenials & will they grow outside in zone 5, or do I need to keep some of them in until next spring?
Jan
Jan you got some wonderful plants. I'm sure tam will e-mail you but yes they are all perennials and should be fine in zone 5. The only one I'm not familiar with is the star of bethleham bulbs.
Jan
I believe star of bethleham is in the plants database.
HI Jan
I emailed you. Since I too am ZOne 5 and have no problems you should be ok. They are perennials. I believe the Sedum may be Sedum Spectabile Autumn Joy. The flowers are more a purple then a pink. After checking them carefully on the net that is what I have come up with. I could be wrong. The Hosta is un-named but has white leaves with very little green on them along the edges. I tried finding you a name but I never realized there were so many hosta's available. Sorry about that.
