Happy 1st Birthday to the "Today In History"feature!

Although it shows up on my home page, I don't remember to check it out every day but I do find it very interesting and informative ... like the first item today, Christopher Columbus writing in his log regarding Ipomoea batatas, the wonderful sweet potato!
