I put electric candles in all thew windows since I have no outside decorations.

Me neither Lynnie. We have a stained glass that a friend of our made hanging in one of the sunroom windows, I told DH we should put lights around the window frame, it would highlight the stained glass.

Lynnie, I think a candle in each window is so nice. You don't need much with that.

Smiley, do you have a light behind you stained glass window? Lights around the window would look cool and like you said make it more visible.

Hi ya guys. Sounds like everyone is being productive...

not productive enough over here! my baskets are muddled in my brain. I think I'm going to divide stuff up & pack it up. Free up some of my brains virtual memory, HAH!

Boy you guys are a real busy bunch, this is the shortest tread this year. Ok time to relax come out where ever you are!

friend came over and we exchaged presents, and you know we had to look. Got me some good smelling perfume and lotion and this neat candle warming plate too cool. I made potatoe soup and grilled cheese sandwiches, we drank cappichino and had a wonderful visti.

Flowers, I've such a mess I don't know where to start. You know it's bad, I'm the queen of organization.

And to top it off, dogboy is sitting by my feet being neurotic because no one is playing with him.

oh how nice! I love potato soup, haven't had it in a long time.

Well have a few long time friends Venice, I make time for this time of year it is special for us. My best friend from Jr. High is coming Monday with her grandkids, and I will have a couple of mine and we are gonna make cookies and let them decorate them and probably pizza for lunch, their favorites.

Spinning my wheels more than anything....for every step forward seems a half step back....Having a hard time getting in sync...always that way at this time...one day will learn to divide and conquer hopefully.

The other friends that I haven't talked to all year, I will have a Christmas calling card day. Thats when I call all of them and catch up.

Well your tree sure is pretty so thats half the battle Moon.

Think its gonna snow here Sat. night, so maybe will get snowed in and can rest and play a little lol

I haven't baked any cookies yet, I will tomorrow.

I am going on vacation for the holidays. DH works days 22nd through 26th...GS is going to his Dad's on 24th until 28th. I have two books I have been meaning to get to for a while....gonna curl up and read for a couple days...then we will do a late get together with son and all.

I may use some of that time to bake bread and danish and cookies for the weekend.

When family gets together again on Christmas Eve, daughter is making a ginger bread house and gonna let all the kids decorate it. She has more patience than Mom, there would be ginger bread all over that kitchen the first time it didn't cooperate lol

good idea. I get in a fizz and do mine too early, give it out then have to make more. Still haven't done the buckeyes guess I will do that while the ginger bread house is going up.

That sounds like lots of fun...I would have to just let the kids take over...that way they could have a great time and the gingerbread would look like a house...not a house a tornado hit....grin

Well couldn't get the dumb vacume unclogged after the fifth attempt and the bread was smushed when I got home from the store. Can't do a thing with a smushed loaf of bread, not even toast LOL

Flowers, banana pudding? With vanilla wafers, pudding, and whipped cream? I haven't had that in years. Soooo good!

Mother in law fixed it every year for TG it was DH's favorite. I got the big yellow bowl she always had it in and fix one just to remember her by. Silly things we do!
