Love those beach pics.
Well I'm taking advantage of it. I'm now closing my eyes and pretending, I'm at the beach, I have some warm sand between my toes, and the sun is wrapping me up with warmth. The ocean mist on my face, is very soothing and refreshing. Oh what a feeling. :))

Love all your contributions! It's so nice to see what others do in their areas.

Someone mentioned poofed up birds because of the cold. Take a look at this Red-breasted Sapsucker! It's not a timid bird at all, as long as I don't move suddenly. Must be the same one that hung out here last year.

I just went through this entire thread. Incredible photos from one and all. So many birds that I never see here in Southeast Texas. There are too many awesome shots to comment on each one. I really enjoyed seeing the variety of birds.

Dave, I've always enjoyed your bluebird photos, but these new ones.... Man oh Man, I just have to tell you that it's like seeing them in HD!!! The colors are so much more brilliant.... almost magnified!

I can't wait to see more of everyone's birds. The differences in climates make for some very interesting shots. I love seeing the birds all poofed up. Makes me want to send out little bird sweaters to you folks up North.

Janet
