Photo loading problems

Is anyone having trouble uploading photos in the discussion forums? I've tried to post photos on 4 different threads and the feature that searches for the photo does not come up when I click on the image box in the replying to a thread window.. This was happening late last night too.

I've figured out what is wrong. Some of the pages are missing the grey "Brouse" button beside the image url box. But the problem is intermittant.

It's happening again. Is anyone else seeing this?

I haven't tried uploading any photo's recently. Let me try uploading a photo here and see what happens.

edited to say: It worked fine for me. I just clicked on the little box at the bottom of this screen that says Image: "choose file" and it pulls up my photo files to select a photo. Maybe it has something to do with how/where your photo's are stored on your computer?

Do you have another browser that you can try?

Melody, I have been uploading photos all along. The problem is intermittant. Two nights in a row around 1 AM EST, I tried to add a photo to this thread. Both nights, the grey "Brouse" button was not on the page. I reloaded the page multiple times, but with the same browser. It also happened on several other threads. Today, I was able to post the photo.

1 am EST is most likely right in the middle of some daily processes that run to collect the site stats. That could interfere with photo uploading, especially if the photo files are relatively large.

Thanks, Terry. I thought that might have something to do with it. But it was also happening Saturday between 4 and 6 PM.

Good grief, as I am typing this, I looked down and there is now no Grey Button beside the image box below the window I am typing in.

Do you mean there isn't a browse button? That's odd...I see it, as well as the preview and send buttons.

Huh - I just uploaded a photo and didn't have the problem at all. I see the browse button below this message right beside the image box. For what it's worth, I used to use Microsoft IE and now I'm using Mozilla Firefox.

I opened a new IE and now I have the brouse button. Very strange.
