I think Flame is going to be beautiful, when it gets big enough to do anything.
It doesn't take, much does it? Do you have to shake it before you use it.? Karen.

After you mix up the recipe, you use 1 Tablespoon per gal. I have sprayed some of my Brugs several times a day. We do have a nursery, Maggi's Garden Magic. The year I took all the cuttings we had no room to grow plants for local sales so last Winter I did not take so many. Then the economy went south and local sales went the same direction. So I will be taking more cuttings this year. I am also trading for more of the newer doubles. I still need to leave room for some of my other addictions, like Gingers, EE and Bananas.

I have about 100 Gingers planted outside and 8a. I do a lot of trading and in the old days we have been to Al, Ga, and Florida for Brug swaps. We know most of the hybridizers and tried some ourselves but I can't see growing 100 plants and composting 99 of them. We only have one we have named so far( Orange Sunshine) and JT Sessions was the hybridizer. We will probly name one this year that is the most fragrant Brug I have ever seen. It doesn't heart that it's a Dark Pink. Thhe only picture does not show how dark it gets, as soon as it darkened up we had a rain storm and it lost all its blooms.

unnamed so far.

Delisa Harvey named Sam after one of our Great Pyrenees that got hit by a car. I think it is worth naming just for its fragrances but it holds up very well in Texas heat.

Big Sandy, TX(Zone 8a)

I am posting here then going to the bedroom and burning wooden stakes for plants. No more lost tags.
