voting booth?????

What is the Voting Booth for, and why can't I access it when I click on it?

You can't access it? Just scroll down the page, and you'll see a box called "Voting Booth!".

Inside the box you'll find today's poll. Make your selection, and click "Vote".

It should then register your vote and give you a link to the results. Is this the steps you are taking? Does it continue to not work? Can you give me specifics on what's happening?

You may also choose not to vote, and just click on "View Results / Discuss" and be taken straight to the results and thread.

That's what I did, Dave. I wanted to see the thread and the results because I don't know what's being voted on. When I click "View/Discuss" it takes me back to the Forums List.

It worked for me! I like this new idea!!

Eyes, click on the results that show up in the box. It'll take you to a thread with the results and some comments....

Oopsie, eyes is right, there was a bug that was preventing a lot of people from accessing the thread and the results.

That was my fault... it should be fixed now. Eyes - can you vote and see the results? Let me know.

Thanks for letting me know it worked. I'm always embarrassed when a bug like that comes through my extensive testing. Ah well, we should be fine now!

You know, the more I think about it, I can't remember a time that I have ever released a new feature on DG that didn't contain a very obvious bug. Shrug!

You may have only one vote per poll.

The system will let you vote as many times as you want, but each time you vote it will over-ride your previous vote.

Lonestar, scroll down the page, looking at the right-hand column. It's the box under "Lonestar's Menu". If you see the U.S. flag, scroll back up - you missed it ;)

Will we also be able to see previous polls and their results and maybe read the discussion of the same but not join in?
