prev page/ next page,

Instead of prev page and next page that's shown at the bottom could be replaced by page numbers, say, 1,2,3...up to 10. This enables us to choose the page we want instead of going through one by one. It'll save time.
And time is precious.

To be honest, I had seen this on bhg.com and I felt very convenient to continue from where I'd left. I just thought of putting a word about it here, as this method takes a lot of time to view older posts. Thanks anyway, Haighr.

Suppose I want to view a message posted by someone, say, about 15 days back, I have to go on clicking 'next page' a number of times until I get to that page. Then when I post a reply, the message comes to the first page. If I have to go the same page again, I have to follow the same steps. It is taking a lot of time. Oh Dave, when will this feature be added?

Poor Dave must feel like the mother of ten 2 year olds.

Methinks Dave's mind is spinning with ALL KINDS of new additions that he is either actively working on or working on a long list and checking things off as he works his way down the line. Wheww, better him than me...my wimpy mind would be fried by now!
Dinu, I know what you mean by clicking back so many pages. Sometimes it is easier for me to find a particular thread by using the SEARCH. As for keeping up with a particular thread I've really enjoyed using the new "watch this thread" option...if there is a new post it will show up on the Home page and you can just click it to go there, no more searching, or if you're like me, wondering "hmmm...now WHAT forum was that topic in?"
Have you tried that feature yet? It's so convenient!

cnclady, so true! Since I wasn't spoiled as a child, I just thought it was my turn, and he does it so well! I keep wondering how they do it, keeping right on top of things we mention in obscure posts. Just two people, mere youngsters themselves. A staff of 20 couldn't do it so well. Must be they're inspired.
