ok rules say after 10 edits u cant edit any more. is that per thread or per post or what? or do you have to wait a certain amount of time before you can post agian?

I believe that's per day, except in the co-op forums as far as I know.

It operates on a rolling 24-hour hour limit. Let's say you made 10 edits yesterday evening, one every 6 minutes from 7-8 p.m.

You would have one new edit available to you at 7:00 tonight (24 hours from the date of your oldest/first edit), another one at 7:06 p.m. (24 hours from the date of your second oldest edit), etc.

That's a little confusing to explain, so we generally just tell people they are allowed 10 edits per day. The vast majority of the time no one runs into the edit limit, so it's rare that we have to go into detail on how it works ;o)
