yes just water them throughly then let them dry a little, over watering can be really bad for any plant

Elizabeth when I got in on the tropical, swap that was on my wish list...mainly because I have never even seen one, except in pics.And they were talking about them on one of the garden shows that I watch. But, I haven't got one yet...been too busy with my brug cuttings...lol

the nice thing about them they can go dormant, you just give them a cup of water, then let them come back to life in the spring, I always wanted to try them but could never get them on sale, so I got lucky, the one thing good about them is when you buy them from Brain, you know you get the right plant

passed, I voted for it so we could have a casino in ohio, they had soo much negative ads against it, but when you read the whole thing it's good for our roads, plus I will only have to drive to Cincinatti to go to it

Elizabeth and Dee. There is a man in a town not too far from where I live that has over 40 Trumpet lily plants and wants to sell cuttings. I phoned and he is supposed to call m back. I hope so, even some Varigated ones. Can't wait to talk to him.

that even makes it better, if he likes them good enough you might get a GH, that would be great, mine didn't like plants until he seen that I wasn't getting rid of them, now he gets excited to see the Brug blooms

I would like a small one (GH), right now; everything is in the house. Think of what I would miss.

the man that has the plants,but I talked to his wife. She said he had some Varigated plants. Maybe he won't

that sounds awesome, a small GH is great till it turns really cold, I won't pay the price of heating it all winter, but right now it's great, a few cold nights, didn't seem to change the temp in the GH, some of the small ones are selling for $399.00 but also you could have your DH build you a hoop house, out of 2x6 PVC & 6 mil plastic, that would extend your season, anyway you can build one for $100.00 or less

my best friend built her own, with the help of her son, that's the least expensive way to go, I just got lucky with my GH, the guy I bought it from had best offer on his ads, so I wore him down, so I could afford it

the down size of the clivia's there's no scent, but that georgeous bloom makes up for it, that's the one I pulled a bloom off thinking it was a maple leaf, wait till the orange one blooms all the way open, it's just starting, I didn't put mine out to chill it just started blooming

That sounds wonderful. I took a pic of my insect eating plants today with my Lucas. I hope he doesn't go in there and tear them up.
He is my little "Junkyard Dog." He loves tearing up flowerpots. Never saw nothing like him.
