OF GHOULIES AND GHOSTIES AND THINGS THAT GO BUMP...

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Back in the 90's there was a movie called "faces of death" or something of that sort....My daughter went with a couple of her friends, even though it was STRONGLY suggested she not....grin. Colored her sleep for weeks afterwards....first time she freely admitted that Mom might have known best.....lol

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

Yoo Hoo!

♫ Where have all the gypsies gone... ♫

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

To vote in the Photo Contest.....so many great pictures....neat fun.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I thought voting on Containers was hard. I really liked doing trees and bushes.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I was taking seeds off my pink and white petunias and I did something really dumb. I had been keeping them sorted well but today I know I got them mixed up. So instead of having white petunia seeds and pink petunia seeds, I now have some that are a mix of colors!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Never had a problem with a mix so long as I know who is in it. grin There are some truly fine pix in the contest....I know I saw at least one of Kassy's. I think I have gotten through maybe 5 or 6 categories.....takes me a while to decide....LOL

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

It does take a while. There are a lot of photos in each catagory also.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Going back to knock out another category.....I have been to trees and roses, waterfalls, home gardens, butterflies and miscellaneous and birds and containers....whew!

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

I loved the bird pictures. I love birds!

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Moon, wow you are really doing good! I have only done trees, containers, birds. Many times it is hard to choose and then elimate some and choose 1,2,3.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

There are so many great pictures. I go for the thumbnails that catch my eye first, then scope out all the rest.....I try not to over analyze the pictures, cuz I get way too caught up.....grin

I loved the owl and the hawks...I love raptors...it was hard to make a decision.....grin

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

I did the birds, too. And the domestic pets.

Venice, pink and white intermingled petunias will look nice!

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)

sure takes away any doubt of a higher being after seeing some of those photos, in my opinion.

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

There are some truly awe inspiring pictures posted there, I have to agree.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Smiley, ok if you think the pink and white mix will look good, I will mix all my other ones together also. Anyway, I am not 100% sure if the ones I saved before were not mixed up a little also!

I have to look at the whole photo when I look at them. I think some I voted on look different from the thumbnails. Maybe that is why it is taking me so long!

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

I also look at the whole photo, I just bounce around looking.

(Zone 5b)

hi all! just popped in for a quick hello, worked all day, so I didn't get to the gym lol
might try to get it in tomorrow, I have a pretty full day already...I ate a lot of candy, too!

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Lynnie, eating candy at this time of the year is a good thing!

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

Eating candy is a good thing anytime venice.

Moderation is the key....thinking only half the bag...

Back to the homework..

(Zone 5b)

I don't have as much left over as I wanted! lol

Prairieville, LA(Zone 9a)

Have a great evening folks.....got to go study for an Alg2 test.....can't believe how much math has changed in 40 years....LOL

Moon

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Moon, good luck! Enjoy your evening. Night!

Keaau, HI

"Eating candy is a good thing anytime".

Now I'm confused!

Woodhull, IL(Zone 5a)

I guess you have to be a chocoholic, Dave.

Have a good night all, see you in the morning

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Dave, you don't eat candy or sugary food, do you?

Keaau, HI

Very little Carol.

Most of the confections I eat, I make.

Homemade Chocolate is choice!

Dave, so how do you make your chocolate?

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Also, just curious, what type of knife is that?

Keaau, HI

Hey Carol!

You start by growing Chocolate trees, Theobroma cacao.

LOL! Then what?

Keaau, HI

That's a Brazilian Gaucho Knife.

When the tree produces mature pods, they are split open, the seeds removed and fermented, then dried and roasted.

Then what?

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Ummmm Jean, when you come back in the morning................I have more then one picture in that contest..............LOL
Actually, I have a number of them, and didn't get to post all the ones I wanted to :-(

Keaau, HI

After roasting, the chocolate beans need to be ground to a fine, smooth, paste.

Dave, the beans are moist to make a paste?

Kassy, I think I saw your mostly white kitty and chickens in the photos, didn't I?

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Kassy, I hope you got to post my favorite one with drops of rain on each point of the leaf.

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

Dave, I am going to bed now. But you can continue with your chocolate recipe and then I can read it in the morning. Ok?

Dave and Kassy have a good evening and a peaceful sleep.

Night! See you tomorrow.

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Yes, venice, I did post one of the chickens peeking at us...............as for my cat picture, I really don't remember what I posted because I did post a number of them.
Maybe I better go look.........LOL

Kenmore, NY(Zone 6a)
