DAILY PICS VOL. 253
Now that I know what a Savannah Sparrow looks like, I may have a few more pics of Chipping Sparrows with mistaken IDs. I'm glad pelle put me on to them.
duc, catching those two White Pelicans flying in tandem is a sweet pic.
reddrit, I enjoyed the snaps of the Ospreys
g-pom, I've never seen a collared dove, nice.
Burd - so many great shoots. I particularly enjoyed that striking mallard, I know where some are at here in Columbus. Gotta go check them out. And that second shot of the GB Heron, what an awkward looking bird.

Love the Green Heron, Golden-crowned Kinglet and the Painted Bunting!
Good ones dirt! Love those Bushtits!
Very nice Dave!
Love all the pictures you guys. Wonderful to be able to share what is going on elsewhere......It has been pretty dark and rainy here to get any.
Dirt, I have never had the bushtits come to my feeder before, but have only seriously started feeding suet this fall. I can keep hoping, now! Is there a particuar kind of suet you use?

Isn't it exciting to have unexpected birds visit your area?
Some of you know I've been watching closely for new arrivals here since the creek rehab began in '05. Today I documented my 42nd new species. I'd seen the Bushtit before, but only at lower elevations.
Sorry for the grain. It not a good picture taking day, with the wind and rain.
Oh that is adorable!
