It blew and rained all day here today. Really brought the leaves down. I will be glad when the big maple out back is bare..lol

I know that makes three of us.
Think I may go to bed early, this cold damp weather is not good for
my old bones. So think I'm calling it a night. Til tomarrow , girls.
Good night.

Dee
I have to wait on paydays too, it's torture, I used to make some extra money mowing but not now
Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

the way it has been raining, there should be a lot of leaves coming down. had a big tree topple over last week up the road. Had to turn around and go out the back road. they had it cleared when we got back from town.

Charlene

Night Charleen.
Dee

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

I used to make extra money when I went to work selling aprons and jewelry.
I'm not going to have DH going in and peddling stuff. He is a supervisor.
That would be, not very good. I don't think.
Charleen
Goodnight Ladies.

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

I am thinking about having a plant sale in the Spring, when we have the town wide yard sale. I'm thinking about it...not sure yet..I would need to set up another light and grow a bunch of seedlings.
Dee

Hamilton, OH

Dee
are you setting it up in your house or the basement? I have plant sales from Mothers day all through, summer but I live on a very busy st. route, it's nothing to 100 cars go by in about half an hour, so I just put out my sign, this year wasn't as good as last year, but I know next season will be better, because I have a lot more to sell
Elizabeth

Kerkdriel, Netherlands

Charleen, your package arrived today. The cuttings look very healty. Nothing wrong with them. I'll cut of one end and put it in the soil today. I think I am going to put your cuttings inside so they will root better. I haven't installed my heated mat yet.

Elizabeth, I am going to do that next year too. I have lots of flowers in my flowerpicking garden. Too much for me and my family. So I am going to sell the rest. We also sell cherries. We have lots of them.
And then I am going to buy more plants for the garden! haha.

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Elizabeth I was thinking more like, just for the two days of the yard sales, and just setting up in the front yard.Nothing huge..lol
Jori, I'm so glad to hear that you got the cuttings. Now it's my turn to send some...lol...I will d-mail you for your address.
Dee

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Elizabeth, I may have to start doing that. Maybe I can sell some plants. You think?
It would be nice to get some extra money. Jori, I am so glad you got the plants.
May have to send more items in larger pkg. seems you get them faster.
that way I will not have to Toss the babies out that are still blooming.
That's a relief.
Charleen

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Dee, I can send it to you.
Charleen

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Thanks, Charleen, but she has already sent it, but you can tell me the procedure to mail to her, if you would. What is the paperwork that Elizabeth was talking about?
Dee

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

so, how long did it take for her to get your package?
Dee

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

I mailed the last pkg. on 10/20/09
and today is 28, so it took eight days. That was very good time.
The larger pkg. took less time than the smaller one. Isn't that strange
When you take your pakg. to the post offfice, they will have you fill out a form telling them what you have in the pkg. It is not a problem,On the last one I listed "Angel trumpets". I guess you could put "plants" You have to list your address , Jori's address and sign and date it. That is all there is to it.
Charleen

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Sounds easy enough. I am so glad that the plants didn't get confiscated. That was my only concern about sending her cuttings.YIPPEE
Dee

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

You can do it, if I can muddle thru it , so can you. ^_^
Charleen

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

I need to get off of here and get busy. I kinda have the blahs, today. I am waiting on 3 trades that are long overdue.I'm worried that our weather will turn bad, and they will be mush, when they get here.Just need to get my mind on other things as I know they are great and reliable traders.
Dee

Kerkdriel, Netherlands

I think plants is a too wide descreption. Just put on it Angel trumpets as Charleen dit and I'll think it wil be fine. Here they are not so difficult I believe. When we send something I don't think I have to put anything on the envelope. But maybe I'll have to too for your country. Otherwhise they might open the package.

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

You are right, Angel trumpets got it right to you, didn't it?? We are going to send lot of Angel's in the mail
to you Jori.
Charleen

Good afternoon Ladies
it's good to see you, I will be mailing your plants out Monday Jori
that's a very good idea about selling your excess plants, it does give you extra money, my busy time is at the beginning
of spring, I have repeat customers, I am the only one in the area that has Brugs, so that helps

bad It has stuff covered and you can't even see my Rabbit under there. It is not a small rabbit either.

that's a pretty view, I love Azaleas, I had a pretty one that bit the dust, last year, I guess the soil wasn't right for it, I have another one it just blooms in the spring, I really like yours
Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

We got that azalea before they were advertizing all these "Encore" Azaleas. It is one we can enjoy twice a year. I'm sure it has a name but I sure don't remember it. But thank you. My DH loves them too.
