And so it the dark pink rambler rose, of which I don't have a name.
Garden Photos #45
sure have a lot still going on karen.
It may seen that way, Bill, but really it's just a single bloom here and there, or a couple blooms on some plants. You really have to be looking for them to really see them. That foxglove is the last of the bloom pics for now, but here's a pic of a little froggy friend we found in the garden yesterday while my sister and Dad were cleaning up the leaves. I took quite a few pics of this guy in different poses, and this one was the best.
Karen
Very nice, Karen. I have to wander around the garden later.
Thanks, Victor!
Karen
Barberries may be invasive but they are nice this time of year!
Yeah, you're right about that, Victor!
Karen
I like the gold ones I have. They turn a nice blush.
I would like a gold one, but I don't think you can get them around here anymore. I just have the one, and it's a red one. Nice color on it, though, and I love all the berries.
Karen
There is a product you spray that is supposed to make the berries unpalatable to the birds. That would stop the spread.
I didn't know that.
same here karen - i still have foxgloves and some rudbeckia i cut down and moved and now they are blooming - at least i know they lived after transplanting
Gee, Karen, sorry that you're still sick! This time of year is so changeable, bodies find it hard to adjust! That's my theory anyway! Loved the froggy photo---he should be hibernating soon.
Yeah, I hope he makes it into hibernation before it gets too cold for him. He was quite sluggish yesterday. Too chilly for his blood!
Karen
Nice forget me nots. Do those set seed?
Nice, Marilyn! Bye, bye, Endless Summer. :-(
Karen
I'm not sure, Jada---I planted them from seed this spring---I know they are annuals, so I'm hoping they set seed. Yes, it's hard to say goodbye to my plants!
Wow---I have some just like that---popular program! My eyes are killing me from the contest photos---I was very impressed with some of the butterfly shots.
Yes - quite a few nice ones there. Most of the categories had at least a number of real good ones.
Trying to make excuses for your weeds, are we?
Karen
that is a lot of weeds!
For someone as anal as you are about them, Bill, it would be fatal.^_^
put down the camera and bend over and dig them out !!
Hmm, I mention anal and you say bend over...
then get on your knees and dig out the weeds
Frost will kill them soon enough. There's always manana.
lazy
Thanks!
you guys crack me up, Bill you would have a heart attack if you saw all my weeds.
Nice Pine!
Thanks.
My gaura and Rozanne geranium are still blooming!
