Oh Dee wanted to know my new babies, Arborea, Klara Baums, Silver Dawn & Allaquippa, that's all I can think of right now, oh Angels Sunbeam

I did see where hubby fixed babies, I have gone back a couple times, looked at your beauty's, tell hubby we're proud of him, mine carried my potting soil to the basement door, after me begging, but he did it, painted lady is blooming in the basement, I will get pic's later, taking a break right now, I look at all the plants in the basement I can't believe, I did that all by myself, the one plant I have a problem with, is where do I put my Duranta, I think I will put it & my lemon verbenni
in the attic where it will get natural light
Elizabeth

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Charlene
would you believe I left a spider plant out, i just missed it, the frost didn't kill, I don't know how I missed it, it was hanging in my tree, amazing, the moonflower is all frost bitten, but the spider plant is fine
Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

You may be able to cut back the moonvine and let it come back.
I got mine here behind me. I have no luck with Spider plants for some reason.
But you wouldn't know it by how many plants I got in here now.
Charleen

Hamilton, OH

Charlene
have you counted your plants, I will in the next week, I have about 20 seedlings, most of them are from seeds this spring
the thing with Brug seeds, you never know what you're going to get, now I have abou 50 seeds to get ready this Feb. thats my favorite month, because it's so short, also that's when the cliva's bloom, thats also one of my favorites, it doesn't have a scent, but the bloom makes up for it
Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Elizabeth, my clivia has never bloomed. I want it to, but it hasn't. I looked up Allaquippe and got something in Pa. But no brugs. Do I have to go to something else?
I haven't chopped up the tops yet. Still have blooms. I have two Tops (Y) in glass water, 5 logs behind me, dry.
Charleen

Charlene
I hadn't found Allaquippa either, untill I joined BGI, they have, a classified ad section, that's where I found it, i's georgeous, I think it's one of Monica's, I have about 3 that was her's, she is the most amazing Brug grower, she's from Germany
are you going to try the log method, you will have the chance, I sent you 2 logs
Elizabeth

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

Why not?? It won't hurt and it is something we can all try and watch the results. HUH?
Yes, Monica has some Amazing Brug. have been Looking at some of them on a link
GordonHawk has. I love to read these different forums, you learn so much from them.

that's a Duranta, I really liked it, the only place I found it wanted $36.00 for it, too rich for my blood, so I waited, they got it in at lowes last year, I still wouldn't pay the price they were asking, so when they started marking them down I got for $8.99, this is my second winter with it
Elizabeth

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

Yes, it is beautiful, and lots of bright light!
Dee

Ladoga, IN(Zone 6a)

I'm gonna have to read about Duranta, now. I really like it too! you can tell that we are plant sisters. I am always waiting on plant sales...lol
Dee

Barnesville (Charle, GA(Zone 8b)

You did great Elizabeth. a third of the price.
I think they should charge that price all the time istead of the higher price.
Charleen

Hamilton, OH

Charlene
thank you for the compliment
Dee
when we first got this house that basement was so dark, I caught paint on sale for $5.00 a gal. I bought all the white they had, it took me 3 months, to get all the walls painted, then I painted the floor, light gey porch paint, it went really good with the white walls, now it's really bright down there, of course DH had to hang the lights for me but he did
