Hi Rachel. Lynnie's FIL had a car accident last Thursday. Originally thought he had concussion only, He additionally had bruised kidneys and broken ribs and was on verge of pneumonia when Lynnie got him back to the ER.

I got to scrape my car windows before I left for work, lucky me. And 2 trucks were in an accident on that big bridge I go over this morning............some people need to learn how to drive all over again. "sigh".

Trina, I was thinking that is why you were MIA. Hope you had a nice visit with your mom. I assume that both of you had to get plants while you were at the nursery.

So sorry you are awfully sick! Do you have some meds to take? If you don't, Ibuprofen is good for a fever. Don't forget to take them regularly. Also, be sure to drink lots of water because we don't want you to get dehydrated. Glad you are in bed because you need lots of rest too. Hope you get back to your little witchy self real soon!

dixiegril, do you know what kind of chickens you have?
I was just wondering, because they kind of look like some of our girls when they where young. And if they are, they will be brown egg layers.
Ours lay a number of different colors .......from white, to dark or light bown, to very light blue, to very light green, and one that at times kind of looks a mud green.

Trina, you can never tell if the fever is all you will get or if this is the start of something. Do you have a heating pad or electric blanket? I assume the temperature of your room is turned up high, you have a pile of blankets on the baed, and that you have your warm socks and jammies on.

Now go to sleep because your body needs the rest to heal.

I was leaning towards naming her Thumberlina though that way I have two fairies....LOL

Hi Jean, that is Alpinia purpurata, Red Ginger. When conditions are right, it produces plantlets on the flower heads. They are easy to grow.

Dave, you look like you are 15...no wonder they had such a hard time guessing your age....GRIN

as for tink and trouble? Tink is afraid of her and barks at her, but when we put kitty away tink cries til we let her out and so does the cat, its like they aren't ready to play but they don't really want to be away from each other. Tink and Trouble finally setted when we put there kennels right next to each other

My stepson (oddly he's usually the really bad kid) brought it home...BF said he was gonna feed it to skipper so I said only if I get to feed Tink to skipper! I won I get the kitty I want he gets his chupacabra and maybe the little devils will entertain each other and leave my plants alone! and I might get my lap back....well I can hope but I know that aint how this is going down... I see tag team wrestling on my house plants and 2 babies always wanting to take naptime together in my lap

Oh and they had a suprise for me but I didn't get to see it until this morning...all the stuff to build my greenhouse is here....YEAHHHHHH!!!!!!!
