Rob's Argyle Socks first blooms
Rob's Argyle Socks (8808) 05/31/1999 (R. Robinson) Double pink star/blue fantasy. Crown variegated green, pink, beige and tan/red back. Semiminiature
*****obviously I don't have the right name for this one..........or maybe it is just because they are the first blooms?
Hey Gail,
Please save me a leaf from Darlin' Blue. I haven't seen that one before. I don't remember Fred having it. If he did, I missed it.
Do you have a computer yet?
Pat
Oh Gail, please make that 2 leaves. I need one from Stormy Rage too. That is a beautiful flower.
shes back,missed ya gail
I didn't get her, Pat, from Fred...........isn't she precious and never quits blooming. I know she has been blooming for more than 6 weeks now..........I will save leaves for sure!!!
I do have a computer now but with a few gliches which the computer tech can fix on Monday........on my way out of town early Friday to see grandchildren play volleyball, dance and soccer.
Most people don't say they are going out of town but no one could ever past the entrance into the farm with someone living practically on the gate with guard dogs.............and hidden cameras everywhere.
yea! Welcome back Gail.Your plants are beautiful as always!
Hi, Jim.............so happy to be back and don't want to go start ironing again. I must have been really ugly to someone (teasing) because this week alone I didn't have a telephone, computer and the septic tank has taken 4 days to fix. I couldn't run any water through the septic tank as there was a main line broken................
So..............if it is true that we reap what we sow, I hope things quit breaking soon (smiling)
I'm certainly glad that you are back. Nice pictures to announce your return! I can see what you have been doing.
Hi, Jan........so excited to be back.............I never should have gotten on my computer that just arrived or I won't have any clothes to take with me........(ironed ones that is)..........so I can't stay long.
Pat, I just grabbed the camera and a few plants when I realized he had the 'puter up and running!!!!
Well, they are beautiful pictures. But I would expect nothing less from you. You always have beautiful plants.
Yeah, she's back!
I think your Rob's Argyle Socks is really Rob's Blue Socks. Seems to me, Rob's Blue Socks is a sport of Rob's Argyle Socks . . .
Gail, I have this one and it blooms its little heart out. Just tons of flowers for such a little mini.
Wow all of the wonderful pic's!! Love the newlyweds, cakes, babies plants, flowers I hope I did not miss anything or anyone!!! All wonderful!!!!!! So congrats to those and thanks for sharing to all!!!
Gail,
It's so nice to see you back!! Your pictures are as awesome as always.
Lynn
I really like that little mini 'Baby White'. Do you grow from leaves or seeds gail? Do you you find a lot of variation when you grow from seed?
Pat
No zozzl, I have never even tried growing african violets from seed. I am in a hurry now but I got that one from Fred on ebay. There are also some other good vendors for these mini and micro mini avs.............Fred is The Green Dragon Trading Post (name of store) and his user id name I think is The Green Mule???????
Always running late.........just had to replace a light fixture before leaving town as the ballast went out..........when I get back we can share some names of good vendors.........also, if you promise to remind me, I will be happy to send you some leaves of the tiny ones.......
