Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

The oreo birds should be coming through again! I love seeing those birds.

Better than having bears though, huh?

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

I've never seen one.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

the sad part is... it's the only one I have seen

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Well that stinks!!!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

I've never seen one.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

I had put out oranges & meal worms hoping they would stop by... and the only one was the dead one... it was beautiful ... Randy called me some names I won't repeat as the tears ran down my face

:)

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Wow - what was in the oranges?!!

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

ooops....I didn't mean Orioles, I meant oreos...juncos. They look like flying oreo cookies. Which reminds me, I have some halloween candy to raid.

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

oreos were in the oranges.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

oohh juncos... get out of that candy... have to yell at you and Randy!!

Lower Hudson Valley, NY(Zone 6b)

Have you killed any juncos, Allison? ^_^

Jersey Shore, NJ(Zone 7a)

But, yum, it's so good! By the way, when I was looking at your halloween lights I heard the one song and didn't think it sounded like a halloween song......then the refrain...."I want candy" LOL Good one!

central, NJ(Zone 6b)

Oh that's funny, Louise.

This is the only junco pic(nov 08) I have, they are always moving.

Yep, mine is about the same quality.........or maybe not, I can't even find it. They love to come to the feeders when it's snowing.

S of Lake Ontario, NY(Zone 6a)

I love the juncos too, but that means it's getting cold!

Pittsford, NY(Zone 6a)

I have Juncos all winter.
At my city house it was always a sign of spring when I saw them at the ground under the feeder. They were the first of the migraters

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

not nice Victor... and no I haven't...

thanks Weeze.. it's been hard trying to find songs that I am enjoying programming and are relevant... I had to cut up Feed My Frankenstein by Alice Cooper .. I cut out all the bad parts... we didn't think having something racy sounding would be a good idea... Christmas will be so much easier

Pepperell, MA(Zone 6a)

here is one of the smaller carrots we have been getting from the garden - some of this went into a spaghetti sauce i made last night

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

Eastern Long Island, NY(Zone 7a)

One night near Halloween one year we went out with a bunch of the fireman, 2 cars filled, looking for corn mazes/haunted hay rides...everywhere we went for some reason they weren't doing them that night...listening to one of the NY radio stations doing a Rocky Horror picture show special....we pulled over at a rescue squad building and we all got out and started dancing when Time Warp came on...it was HYSTERICAL, like it was staged or something...then we all jumped back in the cars and drove away.

Denville, NJ(Zone 6b)

very cool Jen!
