Nice additions to the rehab theme, Gary .......

Great shots, Rose !!!

Here is an Eastern Screech Owl - Red Morph that I photographed this weekend. He lost his left eye in an accident so I'm only showing his good side. It looks like they may have put a glass eye into his damaged eye socket.

The Eastern Meadowlarks seemed to disappear for the past month but they are back in numbers. These two were in the top of the walnut tree this ...the one on the right was singing up a storm and the other one was very quiet. These are for you Marna!!

Beautiful shot, Rose. I keep looking for Eastern Meadowlarks but seldom see them. And, you got them against a blue sky. I'm envious !!!

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

Beautiful shots Gary.

Rose I just love that Lincoln's Sparrow! I was bright and early today for bloodwork...12 hour fasting so I was off to get it done so I could eat. Coming back in I saw a Meadowlark up on the wire in the morning sun...wish I would have had the camera with me...darn it!

A few shot from last Wednesday at my favorite warbler spot.

Thanks for the new thread, Mrs Ed. Great shots.

Loved your series on the release, Gary.

Nanny, lovely shots. The Titmouse is so sweet.

Striking Grackle, GP.

Rose, that's the first time I've seen Lincoln's Sparrow. What a beautiful bird. The Meadowlarks are fabulous.

I can't drag myself away from the Osprey nest, so any photos of birds I get are from there. Yesterday a Laughing Turtledove (an introduced species) and a Rainbow Lorikeet (a beautiful pest) were close together on a branch below the Osprey nest.

To keep from running afoul of the copyright law I have to modify the pics that appear in the book I introduced last thread. Here is how I see a Spitting Finch.

The books can be found on line at PeachtreePublishers.com ( look under author John Sill)

I saw the book at Amazon, and will probably get it, Adele. It seems like such a funny book. Don't do anything to get yourself into trouble. Nice birds, Margaret. Love those Meadowlarks too!

Putnam County, IN(Zone 5b)

That Lorikeet seems to be trying it best to annoy the turtle dove! lol

PERTH, Australia

Nanny, that seems to be their purpose in life - to be as noisy and irritating as possible.

wow, nice catch on the mockingbird.

I had what I think was a tan-form white throated sparrow the other day, so that's my signal for fall.

Just came in from birdwatching all morning....got a lot of soaring birds, including this one which I believe is a Peregrine Falcon. This pic has been cropped and lightened to help ID. Still no Buntings :(
