Just noticed this and I'm curious

I thought I posted two photo's on a thread this evening but didn't see them show up so I went to "My Info" and "View The Posts You've Made" and noticed the times are "off".

The very first one "Vine in Florida" shows the time of my post as 11:23 p.m. - by my clock it's a few hours yet before 11:23 p.m. rolls around. What's up with that? Or, is it something up with my brain? ^_^

I can't see what is in your link, as you linked from your own personal posts. When I click on it, it takes me to MY posts.

Is this in one of the forums, or is it photos submitted to PlantFiles?

but I happened to be at my info page looking at the posts I've made and it says 11:23 p.m., and I just thought it was weird showing four hours later than the actual posting time.

Does the DG time show up correctly at the top of the page? Underneath the banner and to the far right in the blue line? If not, then perhaps you need to tweak the time on your home page to be the correct one for your area? (My Info, Manage Your Preferences, then set the timezone you are in.)

If that isn't the problem, then I'm out of ideas.

Yep the time at the top is correct, 8:35 p.m.

Maybe it's just a last day of September fluke or something, LOL. Not a big deal, I was just curious. Thanks for checking for me!

It looks like the time was 6:23 pm on 9/30. Is that not correct?

I understand now what you're saying because I just duplicated it myself and yes, there is something off.

I posted this morning on a rose thread at 9:19 AM
Then I went to My Info and clicked on posts I made which brings up a list of my recent posts and the time stamp for that particular post on that list shows at 4:19 PM.

So anyone should be able to duplicate it with your own posts by checking the actual time stamp in your post and then again checking it in your list of recent posts made.

That's a question for Dave, but my guess is the time stamp in your "My Info' log may be based on Eastern Time meant to say UTC/GMT ;o)

I am in Eastern Time Zone. I'm going to post this (it's 2:19 p.m. my time right now) and then go to my info and see what time shows up.

Ok ... it says the post was made at 6:19 p.m. which is four hours from now.

cool! How did you get your "start" "time" etc on the top??

The current date and time are at the top of every page.

Thanks for this good report. It was indeed showing the time in UTC as Terry suggested. I have now fixed it to show the date in your own timezone.
