I just found out one reason why my gazania rigens were not doing very well. And I never could get those real fluffy seeds. It says it is for zones 8-24!

ok I have a dumb question exactly how many coleus cuttings does it take to make a box weigh nearly 7 pounds?

and if the box is all hibiscus cuttings and it weighs 11 pounds 4 ounces..How many cuttings is that?

(oh boy am I gonna be in trouble cause hubby said tonight he's about 5 plants away from a meltdown)

Good morning all! I just realized i missed you guys yesterday....it was a busy morning.
Trina I sent your seed packets out Monday...I didn't count the seeds, i'll leave it to venice ;) there a lot and they're teeny tiny! I haven't seen any seeds on the African basil....I check every few days. Maybe they're so small i'm missing them, or is it possible there's a seedless variety?

Trina, are you sending or receiving these boxes?

Lynnie, a couple of my plants were blooming late. It takes a little warm weather or just time for them to have seeds.

I think that is what is happening to yours also. They were blooming so strong in your last photo of them You just have to wait and they should dry on your plant and turn a beige color.

I don't like this waiting either. It has been so cold here. Frost warnings tonight. I guess my avocado trees have to come in today. I just checked the weather forecast. For the next 2 days it will be 70 and low of 50. That isn't too bad. I will try just to get those trees under cover tonight I guess.

I'm up! I'm up! I splurged and bought a coffee maker with a timer. Now I don't have to wait.

That's what I have Smiley....my husband got it, probably because I'll get up and stand there half asleep in front of the coffee maker till holding my cup out till somebody fills it *grin* Now if the coffee's already made I can stumble around & get my own. Although yesterday I was drinking a cup of coffee & realized the cream i had been using all week was 'sell by Sept 13'..... eeeewwww

Hi Seeds' and JJs! You guys have been busy, haven't seen you lately.

Trina, I like your idea. There is a place here in Kenmore called "The Organic Dog Market and Coffee Tea House". Yes, it's a mouthful. Great people. They have all natural dog foods and treats, even make a bunch of them. On the other side of the shop, they have coffees and teas, all fresh, and you can get a fresh ground & brewed cup of coffee or tea. They also have this HUGE roaster in the middle of that side and roast their own stuff.

They have a facebook page.

We had one of the Great Tetons over 1200 pieces. This thing was moved and spilled and
moved again over a 3 year period, oh my gosh, missing 1 piece and it's an edge piece, lol we were amazed.
Well now, they enjoy scrabble and cards...Which reminds me, Think we finally settled on being a variety of cards

Me neither Flowers. My mom & dad used to have a blowout Halloween party when we were little. Adults only, we couldn't go in the basement. She made their costumes, one year they were the King & Queen of hearts. I don't know how she made it though.

She's one of those artsy-craftsy people.

LOL...when it comes to counted cross stitch or sewing quilt blocks together by hand...both my grandmother and my mother say I make the best stitches they've ever seen....so that made me feel good
